Rudra pov :
I roared my bike to life, the engine thundering beneath me as I sped towards the location Rahul had messaged. My heart raced with anticipation and fear, my mind focused on rescuing Ruhanika and Akshita. The wind whipped through my hair, carrying the scent of dust and desperation.
As I turned a corner, the godown came into view. Deserted and dilapidated, its walls seemed to loom over me like a monolith, casting long shadows in the fading light. I slowed my bike, scanning the perimeter for any signs of life.
Nothing.
No guards, no movement, no sound.
I brought my bike to a halt, my eyes locked on the go down's entrance. My instincts screamed warning, but I had to save them. I could feel their fear, their desperation.
Just as I was about to kickstart my bike and enter the godown, a blunt force crashed into my shoulder. Pain exploded through my body as an iron rod slammed into me, sending me tumbling to the ground.
My bike crashed on top of me, pinning me beneath its weight. I struggled to free myself, but agony coursed through my body, making every movement a torture.
A figure emerged from the shadows, an iron rod raised for another strike. His face was twisted in a cruel grin, eyes gleaming with malice.
"You're a fool for coming here alone," he sneered, his voice dripping with contempt.
I recognized the voice, but not the face. One of Rahul's henchmen.
Rage fueled my strength, and I pushed against the bike, trying to shove it off. But the henchman was relentless, striking me again and again.
My vision began to blur, darkness creeping in. I felt my consciousness slipping away.
Ruhanika... Akshita... I had to save them...
Their faces flashed before me, their voices echoing in my mind.
"No...no...please..." Ruhanika's desperate plea.
"Rudra...help..." Akshita's terrified whisper.
Their cries fueled my determination. I wouldn't give up.
With a Herculean effort, I heaved the bike off me and launched myself at the henchman. We crashed to the ground, fists flying.
But I was no match for the henchman's brutality.
Everything went black.
As I opened my eyes, a groan escaped my lips, pain ravaging my body. But it was nothing compared to the anguish that gripped my heart when I saw Ruhanika and Akshita tied to chairs, their faces etched with tears and fear. My vision blurred, and my chest tightened, as if squeezed by an invisible fist.
