"You made a decision yet?" Messiah asked as they sat in his car eating McDonald's on their lunch break

Mia didn't answer for a few seconds as she chewed one of her nuggets.

She sighed, "It's only been 2 days Messiah." She said chuckling. "I'm still weighing the pros and cons"

"Ight lemme list the pros for you." Messiah started. "You'd get to wake up to me everyday, you gone be my wife soon, you get to build a bond witcho step daughter, youn never have to worry bout nothing ever again, you can be a stay at home mama if you want.... Shit what else"

Mia watched Messiah as he listed all the pros. She smirked and continued to eat her food. She couldn't lie and say that it didn't sound amazing. He was literally listing off her dream life. Mia had always wanted to settle down and get married in her 20's to the love of her life.

"Ok what else?" Mia asked and she smiled at him and stuffed her face with fries

Messiah licked his lips. "We gone grow even closer, we gone do whatever you wanna do, you gone get in a good school up there, wherever you wanna work imma get you in at..." he trailed off

Mia nodded her head.

"Now what's yo cons?" Messiah asked

Mia took a deep breath as she thought. "Hmm.. imma be far from my parents and Sahara..." Mia paused as she couldn't think of any more.

"Exactly. You got one con. And we can come back whenever to visit yo folks. And we can fly Sahara out whenever" Messiah said

She couldn't help but smile at his enthusiasm. "You really got this all planned out, huh?"

"Only the best for you," he said "But real shit."

"Okay. I'm considering it," Mia said, a hint of excitement creeping in. "But I still have my worries."

"Like what?" Messiah pressed, leaning forward, genuinely interested.

"Like... what if it doesn't work out? I don't want to make a huge move and end up regretting it. And don't you think it's a bit too soon? It feels right, but I don't know, Messiah. We just started dating..." she admitted, biting her lip.

Messiah shook his head, his expression turning serious. "I get that. But I don't think love has time restraints and shit like that. Sometimes you gotta take risks. You'll never know unless you try. And trust me I ain going anywhere."

Mia nodded, feeling the weight of his words. "Yea, I mean even though we just started dating, I want to do everything with you. It's kinda weird how strong I feel already."

Messiah studied her for a moment as he scoffed down his fries. "Thats just how you know it's real," he said shrugging

Her cheeks warmed up.". "I guess so. But what if it gets complicated? What if I start second-guessing everything?"

Messiah leaned closer, his tone steady. "Look, all relationships come with risks. We  gone have ups and downs but I know we can handle it. Just keep it real wit me, and I'll do the same. We a team ma"

Mia smiled. "Ok. You making it hard for me to say no"

Messiah chuckled and leaned over the seat. He grabbed her cheeks and pecked her on the lips.

"I have a question though" Mia blurted as Messiah pulled away from their kiss

"Wassup" Messiah said taking a sip from his Sprite

"Why were you so comfortable with pursuing me after Cj? Like do you feel like I'm gonna sneak around on you like I was doing with you while I was with Cj?" She asked, biting her lip in nervousness

Messiah shook his head. "Hell nah. Cause I already knew you was gone be mine." He started

"Imma be real witchu, I been wanted you since I met you that first time at the spot. I knew I was gone get you cause I knew Cj been fucking around."

Mia threw her mouth open in shock. "Been knew???"

Messiah chuckled. "Yea. My bad."

"Well why you didn't been tell me?" Mia said folding her arms in frustration and confusion

"I ain no lame ass nigga, what I look like coming to you telling you yo nigga cheating on you? Thats what females do" he said shrugging. "Just had to let you see it for yourself. I knew that shit wasn't gone last"

Mia shook her head, a mix of disbelief and admiration for his confidence. "So you just sat back and watched?"

"Pretty much," he admitted with a smirk. "I had to let you figure it out. Plus I knew you'd eventually come round. You ain't gone just put up with anything."

Mia blushed. She tilted her head to the side in curiosity. "So... what kind of stuff you knew he was doing?"

"It ain important" Messiah said

Mia kissed her teeth. "Messiah come on. I'm just curious to know now."

Messiah sighed. "Ight. The first time you ever came to the spot he had brought somebody over there the day before. That's why I was confused when you said you came wit him." He started

"Then every time I would go over there to work on the security shit he would have a different female over there. Every time" Messiah added

Mia furrowed her eyebrows in shock of what she was hearing.

"Oh and that night we had to drive his car to his spot, I knew he was in there with that girl cause she was there before I came out to the car" Messiah said shrugging

Mia's eyes widened, the pieces falling into place. "Damn. I was a dummy" she said shaking her head

"Yea... a lil bit" Messiah said smirking

Mia kissed her teeth and hit Messiah in the back of the head. "Shut up! You weren't supposed to agree" she said laughing

Messiah laughed as he held his head. "Ight chill chill.
I'm just playing. You wasn't dumb you was just too real"
