Chapter 49: Served with Punishment, Overlords, and Eggs

(Heaven's courtroom, 4:00 A.M.)

It was 4:00 in the morning in Heaven, when Sera had all the Elder Angels, Zarathos, Emily, and Zadkiel, who was standing before her on the ground, back into the courtroom to judge Zadkiel's actions against Aiden Justice down in Hell. Zarathos had presented the Seraphim Sisters the evidence Zara had captured with his phone, and Emily was absolutely appalled of this, and very angry at the rogue angel, as see transformed into her angelic form for a while. Sere was also a bit horrified of Zadkiel doing something like this, right after the previous meeting. So, she summoned the Elders to judge the evidence against Zadkiel, and to continue the previous meeting. Whatever they decide on his actions, one thing is for sure, they won't go unnoticed.

Presently, all the angels in the courtroom, including a nervous Adam and Lute off to the side, witnessed, inside the white aura, the part when Zadkiel grabbed Aiden's neck, lifting him up from the ground.

Zadkiel: Humans and demons don't deserve to rest in peace.

Aiden: (gritted teeth) They deserve... to decide to change... for the better!

Zadkeil: Then, you will die, like all the useless garbage in this pit of dispair!

As everyone saw when Zadkiel summoned his sword to kill Aiden, all gasped at this sight. The Elders, and other upper hierarchy angels,  were then talking amongst themselves, until...

Zarathos: But wait! There's more.

As Zarathos fast-forwarded the evidence on his phone, which the entire screen in the aura was also fast-forwarding simultaneously, he skipped to the most important part.

Zadkiel: I don't think you simpleminded idiots know who you're dealing with! I have Heavenly powers you can't even begin to comprehend! I am the real creator of ALL Ghost Riders! And I can easily take your powers away, if I wanted to!!

All the angels gasped at this confession. Sera and Emily were now shocked of this, as Zadkiel kept his calm expression, but was secretly nervous, and sweating a little bit. He knows that he is in deep trouble, and reminded himself to get even with not just Aiden, but also Zara, for recording him. Zarathos stopped the evidence, and put his phone away in his jacket pocket.

Sera: (angry) Zadkiel, for your actions against this host of the Spirit of Vengeance, how do you plead?

Zadkiel: Not guilty. My actions were meant to serve, as an example, of what happens when a human tries to ruin the concept of being a Ghost Rider, by giving the powers of Hellfire to a demon!

Then, the aura showed the Goetia Rider (Octavia) fighting alongside the Ghost Rider (Aiden) against Layla and Maste. But, even with this, it wasn't enough to convince his innocence.

Emily: Even with an Ars Goetia version of the Ghost Rider, we have yet to discover her full potential. And that's an entirely different topic.

Sera: What's more is that we have reason to believe that you were in league with Mephistopheles himself, for Zarathos's capture in the past.

There was more chatter around the courtroom, but Zadkiel quickly denied that claim.

Zadkiel: ME? In league with a demon Overlord? No, that is considered controversial and unjust.

But, the white aura showed Zadkiel in the past, talking to Mephisto, and setting up a plan to trick Zarathos. This made all the angels glare at Zadkiel, and Emily partially transform as half humanoid and half angelic form.
