After the movie ended, Claudia left to the kitchen to prepare dinner and Arabella went upstairs to call Matthew. She got his voicemail and left a message reminding him to call her if he had heard any news.

She hung up and began unpacking just to get it out of the way. She shoved her clothes into a drawer and hung the bulky sweater Claudia had made her in the closet. There was a knock at the door and Arabella closed the closet door.

"Come in!"

"Hey," Claudia opened the door and peered in. "Any word from Matthew?"

"No, and I'm trying not to let it eat me up." She sighed.

She took something out of her suitcase and saw her script for the audition, which was crinkled at the bottom. She quickly covered it up again, grabbing the whole suitcase and sliding it under the bed.

'Oh, well, I'm sure you'll know before long." Claudia lingered beside the door for a minute. "So, uh, you helped Billie wash up?"

"Yeah, a little." Arabella said. "She was surprisingly good at doing dishes, which I would not have believed was possible until today."

"Good at dishes?"

"You know, it's weird." Arabella busied herself, rearranging the things in the drawers, not wanting to think of her script under the bed. "I definitely don't remember her being so...cool."

"I mean, yeah, she's a sweet girl," Claudia shrugged. She still lingered, her hand resting upon the doorknob. "You do remember what we talked about last night, right?"

"Claudia, all I said was that she's cool." Arabella rolled her eyes, trying not to let a guilty blush rise on her face. "Calm down."

"I was just making sure you remembered." Claudia went back out into the hall, closing the door just enough to say one last thing through the gap."-Forbidden, remember!"

"Oh-" Arabella kicked the door closed harder than she should have, pain shooting up her foot as she stalked around the room.

Forbidden. That was such a stupid word. And why the hell was she forbidden? Just because some people had befriended Finneas to try and get with Billie or become famous didn't mean everyone else should be off limits. Especially someone they already know?

Arabella felt the pain subside and took a breath, thinking rationally. Finneas and Claudia were so close, closer than even her and Claudia. Well, maybe. Either way. they'd been together for so long, it was hard not to picture them as a package deal in most moments.

She really didn't want to do anything to mess up their relationship, and why should she? Her and Billie were strangers, acquaintances at best. If Finneas didn't want her going after her, she had to admit she'd feel guilty not to respect that.

After all, she could have been reading way too much into everything. So Billie was nice to her- she kind of had to be because they were going to be spending the week together. It meant nothing. Nothing at all.

She remembered one last thing Claudia had said last night as she stepped into the hallway. Claudia had said Billie was pretty. In Arabella's opinion, there was no doubt about it.

She almost bumped right into Billie as she walked to the bathroom. She came out and Arabella nearly walked right into her, jumping back while she laughed.

"Whoa, watch out!"

She laughed and Arabella tried not to let her laugh echo in her head as she went into the bathroom. She went to place her toiletries on the counter, it sinking in for the first time that they would be sharing the bathroom.
