The enchanted stone walls of Cabin 20 produced an unusual amount of coldness that Raven Calderu despised. The thunderstorm outside did not help. Raven always struggled with slumber but this night was different in a way. It was as if his body had been staying awake for a reason he could not understand.

His eyes of hazel stared up at the faint glowing crystals that floated over him. A breath of irritation eluded him as he turned his body to the wall to force himself to fall asleep. He squeezed his eyes shut, hoping that would help, but found that it did quite the opposite of that. When another boom of thunder cracked in the air, he shot up from his bed and proceeded to make his way out of his sheets.

After slipping his slippers on, he made his way out of the cabin, stopping just below the stone portico that stopped the downpour from pelting him. Raven closed his eyes and focused on the magical energy that flowed around him. He closed his eyes and focused on the energy needed to teleport him to the cabin he was also familiar with.

When he opened them again, he stood inside the wooden walls of Cabin 11. The floor was crowded with the many unclaimed demigods resting in sleeping bags and mattresses. After a couple of careful steps, he made it to his destination.

Raven softly patted the arm of his sleeping boyfriend, Luke Castellan, to wake him. Luke groaned softly before pulling back his blanket as an invitation, having already known it was Raven. One that Raven did not hesitate to accept, quickly lying beside Luke and wrapping his arms around him. The taller boy pulled the smaller one closer to his warm body. "You have your own bed, y'know?" Luke whispered tiredly to the Calderu boy, his eyes still closed.

"I like your bed better," Raven mumbled. His raven-black hair lay softly against the bare chest of his boyfriend. "And the fact that you sleep shirtless helps."

A soft and quiet chuckle fell from Luke. His eyes finally opened to be greeted with the ordinary pale face of Raven. But the thing that worried him was his eyes. "What's wrong?"

"What makes you think something is wrong?" Raven asked, hoping that his response would end the conversation at that.

"Your eyes," Luke pointed out. "Your pupils constrict after you get a glimpse of the future."

"Aren't you quite the observant one?" Raven remarked, turning his eyes away from Luke and toward the end of the bed, which was harder to see in the dark.

"Rae..." Luke let out. He delivered a small and comforting squeeze to Raven's shoulder. "Talk to me."

"Sleep now, talk later," the Calderu boy announced as he nuzzled more into Luke's body. His eyes shut as a way to avoid the conversation more. He felt Luke's chest rise and fall as he let out a defeated breath. The Castellan boy, however, merely stared up at the dark ceiling. Raven knew of this, which meant he was less likely to go to sleep than he had wished. "I saw a new kid." Luke turned his head downward to the boy who lay against his chest. "Blonde curls. Blue eyes. Kind of short."

"You're short too, Rae," Luke retorted. A short round of fake laughter eluded the boy on his chest. "What do the tarot cards say?"

"Nothing yet," Raven answered. The familiar sound of the thick cards shuffling played in his mind as he thought for a moment. "They're still shuffling in my head at the moment."

"That's good," Luke responded. "Right?"

"Depends," Raven responded. A yawn fell from his lips as he closed his eyes once more. "Now, can we go to sleep? Being a diviner is exhausting."

"Of course," Luke let out. He placed his rough lips against the smooth skin of his boyfriend's forehead. His hand reached up to tangle itself into the raven-black hair that belonged to his boyfriend. "Sweet dreams, Rae." A hum escaped Raven, though Luke understood what he meant by it. The Castellan boy drifted back into his slumber, much like his boyfriend had.
