Going into pyramid was strange. No one really knew what was gonna happen, because no one particularly did bad at the competition. Instead, it sort of felt as though everyone was fighting to just be more middle of the pack. Which was actually a good thing, because it meant that Abby couldn't use one kid's performance last week as an excuse to not give them a special part or solo this week.

Or, at least that's what the moms thought. As they walked into the studio, everyone was sure that this would finally be a drama free pyramid. As everyone stood around waiting for Abby, the moms got to quietly talking, especially Joanne, "So, what's the bet that Amelia is on the top and Gia's on the bottom?" Ann silently nodded from her spot next to Joanne, but Ashley who was stood down at the other end of the line was fed up with Joanne's attitude that she'd had since Amelia and Max arrived.

"Now Joanne, why would Gia be on the bottom? Her and Hannah literally won the Jazz division!" Even though they were talking quietly, the room had deliberately fallen quiet, wanting to hear what was happening. Even though Ashley paused, she wasn't done, "You know what I think, Joanne? I think you're doing this whole poor me act so that everyone tells you how amazing Gia is and how she's so much better than Amelia and that she deserved to win." As Ashley looked around the room, she could see the shocked faces of the other moms, but that didn't stop her, "And you know, I'm not doing that! Amelia and Max had the better duet. They scored better and they deserved to score better. So, stop with this whole kicked puppy routine cause no one's buying it!"

Even though Ashley kept her volume rather consistent throughout, it didn't matter. Everyone had heard, including Gia, who was now being consoled by Hannah and Lilli. Which is what Abby saw when she entered the room. Gia crying, Joanne fuming and everyone else's shocked and stunned faces. So when Abby cleared her throat to announce her presence, everyone quickly turned as she started speaking, "What in the everloving God is happening in here?" All the eyes in the room quickly started darting around, seeing who would be the first to speak up, but Abby decided to make it easier when she pointed to one person in particular, "GiaNina, why are you crying? You know that we don't cry in this studio," And the room stopped.

GiaNina slowly peeled herself away from Hannah and Lilli, wiped her eyes then looked towards her dance teacher with a deep frown on her face, "Ashley just started attacking me out of nowhere!" Ashley whipped her head around to look at the young girl with a startled expression, "And she was being so totally rude! Saying stuff like I didn't deserve to be here and that I was the worst dancer on the team and that it's only a matter of time before you kick me off!" Everyone's mouths were agape, sure Ashley wasn't being kind but she most certainly hadn't said that!

Abby slowly turned to face the aforementioned mother, who was looking at Abby with such rage in her eyes that even Abby was taken aback. Even more so when she started speaking, "Now Abby that is just not true!" Abby's eyebrows raised in intrigue as Ashley kept talking, "I was just saying to Joanne that she needed to stop fishing for compliments! That was the complete exte-"

Ashley was abruptly cut off by Joanne who interjected, "Are you calling my child a liar?" And quickly the whole room devolved into complete and total chaos. Soon all the moms were yelling and stomping and shouting while their children just watched as they acted like total toddlers about the whole situation.

Abby quickly grew bored of the situation and loudly clapped her hands together to gain the attention of everyone in the room, "Are we done? Or are we going to stand around and stop your children from dancing? Because I have five dances this week but at this rate we'll be lucky to have one!" That very quickly shut everyone up. Once silence was achieved Abby continued, "Now Gia, you know better than to stand in this studio and cry. Suck it up,"
