🐉Chapter 3 - The Ball

NO ONE'S POV:

After dinner, Kenneth asked his mom if he could join Logan for the dance. She said yes, and Kenneth quickly went upstairs to change. He put on a suit and tie and got ready. After that, he waved his mom goodbye and went to Logan's house. When he got there, Logan greeted him formally.

💙 - "Greetings, Mr. Ellis..." He said as he bowed down.

❤️ - "Oh, so you've become formal, huh, Logan?"

💙 - "Oh, c'mon, it's only for today...Now, let's get to the Dragon Realm..."

The door to his house suddenly turns into a portal.

❤️ - "Woah..."

💙 - "C'mon, let's go..." Logan suddenly grabs Kenneth and they jump into the portal.

As they entered the portal, Kenneth saw three planets through the semi-transparent light. When they got there, they teleport to Logan's room in the Dragon Realm.

❤️ - "Woah, is this your room in here...?"

💙 - "Yeah, the Dragon Realm's kinda cool. The dragons though are a bit irritating at times..."

❤️ - "Sounds like the people back home..."

💙 - "Right. C'mon, let's go to the carriage..."

❤️ - "You have a carriage?!"

💙 - "Yeah, I'm royalty here. The ball's at the Zephyr Clan's kingdom."

❤️ - "Is it far away from here?"

💙 - "Nah, it's near from here...C'mon, let's go..."

They went downstairs and suddenly bumped into Thorn.

💙 - "Oh, father. Meet my friend from the Human Realm, Kenneth..."

"Then, it's nice to meet you, Kenneth. I'm Thorn. Logan's father and king of the Flora Clan..." Thorn says as he shakes Ken's hand.

❤️ - "Oh, it's nice to meet you too, King Thorn..." Ken shakes his hand back.

"So, I suppose you two are going to the Cyclone Ball?"

💙 - "Yes, father. We were about to go to the carriage when we ran into you..."

"Very well. You two should get going, I'll catch up later..."

💙 - "Okay, father. See you there..." Logan and Kenneth leave.

The two went through the maze of hallways and corridors of the castle. They eventually found the exit and went outside to see the carriage. They go inside and the dragon-like horse starts moving the carriage.

❤️ - "So, how many minutes are we going to get there?"

💙 - "Maybe 15 or 40 minutes. Like I said, it's not far away from the castle..."

❤️ - "Well, I can't wait to meet new people, or should I say dragons?"

💙 - "chuckles Yeah, dragons. But, thankfully won't eat you!" Logan messes with Kenneth's hair.

❤️ - "Hey! Stop it! You'll get my hair messy!"

💙- "Hey, your hair looks nice when it gets messy."
