A Brothers Torment

A welcoming voice

"Someone help me...."

Tenko whimpered out as everyone on the street turned a blind eye. He walked as he looked at the ground, whatching people's feet walk past him. Suddenly, from behind, a kinda voice reached his ears.

"Little boy? Are you ok? You seem hurt."

The voice sounded kind and gentle with genuine concern in it. He turned his head to see a gentle faced woman. She had emerald green eyes and a ways past her shoulders, green hair. She seemed to be pregnant as well.

"Are you alright?"

She asked again as she placed a gentle hand on one of his shoulder. He flinched back at the contact, then calmed down when he noticed how gentle it was. She reminded him of his mom.... The women took a long look at him. Noticing his dry and flaky skin, teary eyes, and two fairly fresh scars on his face. One across his lip and the the other on his right eye.

"Sweetheart, what's your name?"

She asked in a gentle voice, noticing he was scared.

"T-Tenko...."

He responded in a quiet and a bit raspy voice.

"Tenko, do you have any family?"

She asked, quickly realizing that was a mistake as she saw tears well up in his eyes.

"N-no...."

He said through shaky breaths. Inkos heart acked at the heartbreaking realization that this pore, injured little boy was completely by himself.

"Well Tenko, I'm Inko Midoriya. How about you come with me and I'll try and help you."

She smile softly as she held her hand out for him to take. Tenko notice her extended hand and held his closer to his chest, nodding in agreement to go with her. Inko noticed his fear and that he didn't want to take her hand. She smiled softly again, with a small sigh.

"Follow me Tenko."

She said kindly as she started to walk off, Tenko following close behind her.
