Can I stay with you? Crepic Story

Intro

Tripping over a vine and falling to the forest floor. Cross groans as he got himself up and dusted off.

'I hate walking in this forest. It's dark, and I can't use any of my magic here. Nightmare has a barrier over this place.' He thinks angrily

Cross was walking back after one of his daily missions. The mission consists of fighting the star sanses. He dislikes the stars mainly because of ink.

Cross's Alternative universe was destroyed by a random glitch in the code of that universe. He couldn't do anything to save it, so it crumbled, leaving nothing but a shell of its former self. He was still alive in the universe, but it was all white with nothing in it.

In this story his chara character is nonexistent

That was until a skeleton showed up through a black inky portal promising he would fix and restore his au. He believed him but later found out it was a lie. Cross was furious. Ink lied he would have been fine that Ink couldn't fix it, but he had lied to him and used him to further the star sanses fight against the bad sanses.

Cross left the star sanses and traveled universes until he was discovered by Nightmare, who told him to join his team, and he would fix his universe. Cross was skeptical and was going to give up hope on ever seeing his friends or family and home again.

He thought of trying one more time and joined Nightmare's group. He regretted it instantly he went on missions and had to harm people. He was a royal guard he was supposed to protect, not harm, but here he was. He knows Nightmare has no power to restore his universe, but he has nowhere else to go.

Cross grew depressed by the change of environment. The au he currently lived in with Nightmare's group was dark and felt so negative.

Cross continued to walk through a path next to dead trees to a big dark castle.
He walked in and reported to Nightmare about a mission complete. He distracted the stars and did damage to them, and the au Nightmare assigned to him.

Nightmare accepted the mission report and said he was dismissed.

Cross walked to his room for the night. Already dreading the nightmares he would have about his universe again.
