✮ :: *Julianna is homeless because she got kicked out by her abusive family she have been homeless for a year now.*
*Today Julianna was walking down the street and notice a boy who looked a bit roughed up.*
*The boy has dirty clothes on, he looked like he hadn’t been fed in weeks or months even. He looked homeless with a cardboard sigh next to a pot that said “every little helps <3”.*
*She also didn't have much but she decided to give him some of her food*
"hi..."
*she said a bit shy trying to get his attention*
*Aiden looked up at the voice.*
“Hello”
*Aiden responded he seemed surprised that a girl was actually talking to him.*
*Julianna took out an energy bar from her pocket*
"Do want some?"
*she offered kindly*
*Aiden looked at the energy bar like it was some kind of treasure.*
“Are you sure you want to give that to me?”
"Yeah, we can split in half"
“Really?”
*No-one had been this nice to him in a very long time the thought of food just made him happy.*
"Yeah, it's fine with me."
she said, opening the energy bar and splitting it in half before handing one half to him.
*Aiden carefully took the energy bar half from her, he looks at it for a moment before taking a bite of it. He looked like he hadn’t eaten in forever or a very long time. He let out a soft happy hum when he finally tastes the energy bar.*
*Julianna sat down next to him and ate her half of the energy bar*
*Aiden looked at her as she sat down next to him he finished his half pretty fast.*
“Thank you….. this is the nicest thing anyone has done for me in a very long time…”
*he said thankfully*
“No problem, I'm Julianna but you can call me JJ, what's your name?”
*she said finishing her half of the energy bar*
“I’m Aiden. I'm 16 what about you?”
*Aiden said his name with a smile on his face he looked at her, she seemed to be around his age even if she was a couple months older or younger.*
“I'm 15.”
*Julianna was very happy that she found someone her age on the streets it gave her some sence of reassureance that she wasn't alone*
*Aiden nodded his head when she said that, he actually felt a bit better now that he had found someone his age. He had been on the streets for a year now and it hadn’t been fun.*
“How long have you been on the streets?”
“..I got kicked out last year. What about you?”
*she really didn't like bring up that topic but she acted like it didn't bother her*
“About a year now….my family kicked me out after I stood up for myself”
*Aiden looked down at the ground, it was obvious that the topic bothered him as well. It was a very touchy subject.*
*She nodded understanding what it was like to live this life, it felt nice to have someone how related to her*
“It’s not easy to be on the streets, especially if you’re by yourself.”
*Aiden said it had been very lonely on the streets, it was hard to get food and when he did get food most of the time it was expired or bad.*
"Yeah it is..."
*for the rest of the night they talked and they really had a lot in common*
*For the rest of the night the two of them talked it was nice to talk to someone for once. Aiden actually felt happy for once and not so….alone for once*
*Julianna and Aiden ended up falling asleep leaning on each other and this was the start of so much more*
