Y/N'S POV

"It will be alright, Y/n" Mattheo says putting one hand over my shoulder.

"I know, I know. It's just hard." I sigh.

"Well, do you want to say goodbye to your family" Mattheo asks.

"I'll say goodbye to Grandma. If I see my parents they will probably tell your father." I explain.

"Oh, well lets just go to her" he says.

"No, I'm sorry Mattheo but you look too much like your father you WILL scare her, just wait here" I say, trying to not sound rude.

"Grandma?" I say entering her room. My bag over my shoulder, I never took it off.

"Oh, Y/n? What are you doing here honey? Oh you've been crying, how are you feeling?" she asks walking over to me.

"Grandma, I have to leave. Maverick died." I cry into her arms.

"Oh honey, why must you leave" she asks holding me in her arms.

"We went to save him from the dark lords place and I think they might have seen us so we have to go hide" I say.

"Do you have a place to stay?" she says and I shake my head.

"I have a spare safe house hidden with a protection charm. It's got food and everything. Its in a muggle neighbourhood and wizards can't reach" she says handing me keys.

"The instructions are on the back of the keychain go there" she says holding me in a hug.

"Thank you grandma. I don't know what to do without you" I say.

"How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard" she laughs.

"Goodbye Grandma" I whisper, feeling the weight of the moment in my hands.

"Goodbye sunshine, remember I will always be here and you are never alone"

I feel the weight of those words in my heart. I turned away and closed the door. Each step I took was full of freedom and fear of the future. I look back at the room full of memories of where I would hide when dad got mad. Or mom. The room always in my mind full of love and care. Carrying me through this trip. My grandmother Arabella Raven. It's time I earn my name and have the strength she always had when I was younger.
