Evelyn and Matt.
Ever since the third grade, Evelyn and Matt have been inseparable. It was almost love at first sight, Matt and his two twin brothers, Chris and Nick had just moved to her class. She saw the other two, but didn't care for the others. She loved the shy and quiet sibling that didn't speak to others.
Of course, she had to walk up to him. She was 8 years old! How else would she make friends. She had a bright smile on her face, a smile that Matt will always remember.
She walks up to him, not caring how goofy she looked. She had a pretty white and pink dress on, and she looked beautiful. Her hair was brunette, her eyes were blue. She was a perfect little girl. Except she had one flaw. A stutter.
"H-hi!" She says, her voice is excited. Her stutter was adorable, Matt thought. "Oh... Hi. I'm Matt." He says, his voice a bit shaky. He smiles softly. "I-I'm Ev-Evelyn." She says, holding her hand out. He takes it and shakes her hand.
She let's go after a bit and looks into his eyes. "Who a-are your brothers?" She asks, and they come up to her. They were different from Matt. They were loud and proud. "I'm Chris!" "I'm Nick!" They say, happily. It makes her giggle.
"You guys should come sit with me!" She says, grabbing Matt's hand, not taking no for an answer, she drags him over to a table with two other people. She smiles and sits down, pulling a chair up for Matt.
He sits down, and she scoots her chair over to be closer to him. His brothers sat next to him, Chris then Nick. She smiles widely, "Ella, this is Matt, Nick, and Chris. And Johnny, this is Matt, Nick, and Chris." They all said their hello's.
At the end of the school day, Evelyn was reluctant to leave. She wanted to stay with her new best friends. She holds Matt's hand as they walk out, and he holds hers too. Once they walk out and her parents see them, she smiles widely.
"M-mommy! Daddy! I m-made new friends, and they're copies!" She says, giggling as she lets go of Matt's hand to hug her parents.
