21 October 2008 – The Tranquil Nest, Yesung & Ryeowook's Mansion
The soft morning light filtered through the sheer curtains of the master bedroom at The Tranquil Nest. The atmosphere was serene, filled with the gentle coos of a newborn. Ryeowook rested against the plush pillows, cradling their baby boy in his arms. Yesung sat beside them, his eyes filled with warmth and love as he gazed at his family.

"자기야, 우리 아기 이름을 이제 지어야 하지 않을까?" Yesung asked softly, his voice tender yet formal, setting an example for their son. (Jagiya, shouldn't we decide on our baby's name now?)
Ryeowook looked down at the tiny face nestled against his chest. The baby's eyes fluttered open briefly, revealing a glimpse of innocence and curiosity. "네, 운. 저도 그 생각을 하고 있었어요." He replied with a gentle smile. (Yes, Woon. I was thinking the same.)
Yesung reached out to gently stroke the baby's cheek. "어떤 이름이 좋을까요?" (What name would be good?)
Ryeowook took a moment before replying, his tone thoughtful. "제가 생각해 본 이름이 있어요. '성수'라고 하면 어떨까요?" (I have a name in mind. How about 'Sung Su'?)
Yesung repeated the name softly, tasting its sound. "성수... 정말 아름다운 이름이네요. 어떤 의미인가요?" (Sung Su... it's a truly beautiful name. What does it mean?)
Ryeowook adjusted the baby in his arms, ensuring he was comfortable. "'성(成)'은 이룰 성자로, '수(洙)'는 물 수자를 써요. 함께하면 '큰 성과를 이루는 사람'이라는 뜻이에요." (The 'Sung' (成) means 'to achieve,' and 'Su' (洙) is 'water.' Together, it signifies 'a person who achieves great things.')
Yesung nodded appreciatively. "뜻이 깊네요. 우리 아이가 큰 성과를 이루며 겸손하고 바르게 자랐으면 좋겠어요." (It has profound meaning. I hope our child grows up to achieve great things with humility and righteousness.)
Ryeowook smiled softly. "저도 같은 마음이에요. 그리고 물처럼 유연하고 깨끗한 마음을 가졌으면 해요." (I feel the same. And I hope he has a heart that's flexible and pure like water.)
At that moment, the baby stirred, letting out a small sigh. Yesung chuckled lightly. "성수야, 이제 너의 이름이 정해졌단다." He spoke formally to the baby, introducing him to respectful speech from the start. (Sung Su, your name has now been decided.)
Ryeowook looked lovingly at their son. "성수야, 부모로서 우리가 너에게 바른 예절과 존중을 가르쳐 줄게." (Sung Su, as your parents, we'll teach you proper manners and respect.)
Yesung continued, "그래, 예의 바르고 따뜻한 사람으로 자라길 바란다." (Yes, we hope you grow up to be a polite and warm person.)
A soft knock interrupted their moment. "려욱 님, 예성 님, 차를 준비해 드렸습니다." It was Ms. Yoo Soo-bin, the maid, speaking politely through the door. (Ryeowook-nim, Yesung-nim, I have prepared some tea for you.)
