Third person pov:
Kanae Kocho is dead. She was killed after encountering Upper moon 2 on a mission.
His hand slipped, and his sword and haori hit the floor. Giyuu's eyes were wide, not many expected him to cry, and he didn't.
He wasn't weak, or a crybaby. Sure, he grieved, but he was shocked that such a strong person like his best friend was killed, and he wasn't there for her.
It hurt him, in all seriousness, even though he always annoyed her by saying that they weren't friends, he did enjoy her company.
He picked up his sword and haori from the floor and kept an emotionless, blank face on as he walked out of the room he was in, his crow still perched on the hilt of the window, wheezing.
'Don't cry, don't grieve, you don't deserve it, there are other people closer to her who are also sad about her death, you're not special in any way, stop being a fucking bitch and get your act up.'
Even if 6 years had passed, he could still hear the venom in his uncle's voice, his uncle's hand clawing at his hair as he hit him repeatedly.
'You fucking whore! Tell the truth! There is no such thing as a fucking monster! You were the one that killed her! Admit it! Stop fucking crying bitch!'
His heart thumped loudly, his breathing uneven as he forced himself to wear his haori, sweat on his face as he remembered his uncle's words.
Head canon: Tsutako was known for her kindness in her village, so much that little kids called her Nee-san.
He didn't, couldn't and wouldn't cry. He asked himself 'Why?' Maybe he already cried enough for his sister, or maybe Sabito took all his tears with him to heaven. But those are just excuses.
He tried, he really did, to forget their words.
'You don't deserve to show emotion after what you fucking did!'
'YOU LAIR! YOU KILLED HER! YOU KILLED TSUTAKO NEE-SAN!'
'I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU! THAT MONSTER IS YOU!'
'YOUR BLOOD IS DIRTY! YOU KILLED HER! JUST ADMIT YOUR SINS!'
'YOU DON'T DESERVE ANY FRIENDS YOU MURDERER! I HOPE YOU ROT IN HELL!'
Most of it he got over, telling himself it's okay to express himself, he was human, just like everyone else, he wasn't the killer of his sister, or was he? She protected him after all, so he was at fault.
Sabito.... Who had shown him so much love and care that it made him open up, to finally reach out to someone. He made him happy, and when he lost him, he officially broke.
Head canon: Giyuu and Kanao practically have the same mindset and personality, except Kanao always smiles when Giyuu only expresses himself to a selected few.
It hurt his master to see him cry, screaming and breaking everything near him. Giyuu was his first real child, he didn't come to train or seek knowledge and power, he was just a boy lost in the snow, in need of shelter. It was why he trained Tanjiro and took care of Nezuko, for he loved Giyuu since the day he found him when he was 12, lost in the woods and buried in snow, so when he was sent a letter by Giyuu, there were no questions asked.

Rengiyuu: The Eclipse
FanfictionBasically an Eclipse/ MoonFire/ WaterSun/ Moonlight/ Darksun story. If you read my other Sanegiyuu story's description it's the same as that but like, switch Sanemi and Kyoujuro. And it will at least have canon personalities (I think)
