I walked down the long halls. People were swarming, trying to get to class. I spotted a brunette with her hair held with a dagger. Weird choice, since it's a weapon and all. Probably was fake. I looked closer at it. It had the Japanese symbol for Earth.
I gasped.
The Elder Gaeariah.
Her hands where swaying back and forth.
I ran towards her and grabbed her wrist. She turned with such force that she slammed into me, nearly knocking me off my feet.
"Jay!" A red head exclaimed. She ran towards her and pried her off of me. I still was grasping her wrist. The red pulled harshly.
"Katherine! Let go!" The brunette yelled.
"He's the one who grabbed you!" Katherine yelled back, pulling hard.
The girl pushed Katherine.
"What are you doing? That thing that's touching you is like a cursed monster." She hissed.
The girl froze. I hung my head.
To mortals, I really must be a monster.
"You bastard!" The girl screamed, pushing Katherine away from her with one hand. "Don't you ever call a human being a monster!" She yelled at her in rage.
I looked at her, astonished.
The dagger holding her hair fell out. She bent down to pick it up. The other girl pushed her away from it.
"No! That thing has caused you bad luck!" She yelled, holding the brunette away from it.
The brunette elbowed the blonde's face.
"No!" The brunette swooped down and grabbed it.
"Throw it away. Now." The blonde said, her eyes shining into the brunettes'. The brunette held the dagger in front of her in her two hands.
"Thats's right. Kill the spirit of Gaeariah." The blonde whispered. The brunette let go of one hand and slapped the blonde with her other. The japanese mark 'Earth' burned into her skin and revealed red scales. The blonde and Katherine hissed and transformed.
Earthbound Venti.
The brunette's eyes widened in horror. I squinted and shook my head. I twisted my ring and the symbol engraved, meaning 'Wind' in Japanese, glowed a bright blue. It grew into a long white and blue whip. I slashed it across Katherine's face, it having no effect.
"Katherine? Gina?" The brunette said in horror.
"Jay, come join us. Destroy this stupid Wind Mage. We can't hurt him an he can't hurt us, so do the slaying for us." Gina purred.
"No! I will not hurt him." Jay yelled.
"The dagger, it's powerful. You can destroy them with it. I can't do anything to them an vise versa because we both are contracted with the Power Of The Wind." I told Jay, dodging Katherine's attacks while Gina focused on Jay.
Jay's brown eyes stared at the dagger.
"What do I do?" She called out to me, looking up.
"Whatever you think is natural!" I called back, slashing at Katherine's face with no avail.
What you do will determine if you are truly a Elemental Mage, I thought.
Jay's eyes turned a glowing green, as they should. She drew the Japanese symbol for 'Earth' in the air, green flames spouting from the tip of the Elder Gaeariah.
