The day you've never thought of came you and Maddie have been dating for around two months and the reason why you guys broke up was because of rumors and since you guys were kids you kinda believed it you were so sad the first few weeks but then was slowly recovering
As you walk the cold school hallways with your friends and a little smile on your face by the jokes they made you see your ex walking the same direction as you guys you and Maddie stare at each other for a bit and just don't do anything, you didn't know If you guys were admiring each other or something but you knew that wasn't the case.. as you look away since one of your friends was calling your name Maddie walked by you, you smelt her coconut scent as she was walking you just stared at the wall
"Y/n" Luis says one of your friends since you were 3 "yeah?" "How are you?" "I'm fine" "really? Because when I saw her walking past you." "I promise lu." "Okay. Well im gonna go to my classes now I'll see you at lunch" he says with a smile "okay. Bye" you smile a bit back

You were walking to your English class you ran into Maddie's best friend "omg yn" "uh hi Avery." "How are you?" "I'm good why?" "Well I just wanted to check up because honestly Maddie hasn't been the same or feeling the same and she hasn't been acting like how she acts you know." "Yeah I do I miss it honestly" you say while staring at her then looking away "yeahh, well are you sure your good you look a bit down" she says with a questionable tone
" yeah yk no I haven't been good I really miss Maddie I mean she was the best." You say with pure honesty you knew she wasn't gonna tell Maddie anything ."It's okay y/n" you hug her and put your head down on her shoulder she hugs you back as you imagine it being Maddie you were hugging " I know you're imagining Maddiee" you pick up your head and just smile "well I have to get to class Av I'll see you again." "Bye y/n/n."

"Y/nnn" a boy says you've never talked to before "uh yea? And how nevermind" "you know Jayla?" "Uh yea why" "she likes you" "oh uhm k" "do you like her back?" "Well I'm not really look for a relationship or something." "Come on it's been 6 weeks already." "Yeah but- just let me think about it." " alright.."

as she looks to her right and her eyes open wide and looks at you quick and smash's her lips to yours it takes you a bit but then you kiss her back but quickly pull away since you didnt really yk her kissing she isn't the best but Maddie's wayyy better than her.
You look to your right as Jayla looks to her left and you see Maddie and just stare at her as she stares back, it looks like she was walking up to you but she just walks around you while still looking at you then walks around you, you stretch your hand out while Jayla was still looking the other way and your hand and Maddie's slightly touch she looks at you with her eyebrow lifted and you just look away.
You tried fighting by not saying I miss you, you looked back to your gf and you just hugged her she hugged you back "baby.. though I've closed my eyes, I know who you pretend I am." "W-what?" "I know you pretend I'm Maddie." "I-I don't wdym" "it's okay y/n. I know how you feel." "You do?" "Yea.. go get Maddie." "O? Okay." You walked off then ran too Maddie once you started getting close, "Maddie.." "hi" "uh so I was uh wondering if uhm you wanted to restart.." "well aren't you with Jayla?.." "no. Not anymore. I've missed you so much Maddie you don't understand." "No I do, I've missed you too." "So.. would you like to restart? And talk again. It's been long." "Yea"

"Oh shoot uhm but would you like to go out for maybe some food next weekend..?" "Sure I'd like that" she says sweetly. "O-okay. Bye mads" you say with a smile "bye y/n/n." She says with a smile as she walks away, "wait let me walk you to your class!" "Okay" she chuckles
