I could feel my face heating up with a mix of anger and humiliation. Bella was always skilled at finding the right buttons to push, and now, she had struck a raw nerve.
Gritting my teeth, I leaned closer to her, my voice dropping to a low, dangerous whisper, "Don't you dare bring him into this."
"Oh, why not, Ava? Am I wrong?" She talked in her fake-cute voice before her expression completely changed, into a smirk, her voice came out confident. "Maybe he finally realized that you weren't worth his time. A wh*re like you would never deserve him."
There were snickers around, whispered and some downright laughed at me, at what she said.
I scoffed, I could feel my blood raging through my veins, my anger too much to handle, I wanted insult her, so f*cking bad she would never dare talk to me again. At this point, the music had died down, everyone's attention was on us.
But before I could say anything, a voice vibrated through our ears, "That's enough!" The voice boomed, commanding the attention of everyone present.
All eyes turned to see Ethan standing tall, his face etched with a mixture of anger and concern. "Bella, you've gone too far. I don't know what your problem is, but this needs to stop."
"Oh, so now you're defending her, huh?" She scoffed, crossing her arms, "She's nothing but a pathetic attention seeker who wants to steal my boyfriend from me."
"Don't even." I told her as I felt Ethan's arm snack around my back, "You're just insecure you can't keep your boyfriend on your leash. He goes around, flirting with anyone who gives him the time of day, and you take it out on everyone else."
Bella's face turned red with fury as her hands clenched into fists. "How dare you?" she seethed. "You think you're so much better than everyone else, but you're just a pathetic little—"
I cut her off, "B*tch please, step away from the sunlight, I hate the smell of burning plastic."
A collective gasp went through the crowd as my insult landed. For a moment, Bella was rendered speechless, her mouth gaping open in shock.
Ethan couldn't help but chuckle, his hand still on my back, slightly drawing circles, probably to calm me but the only thing it did was distract me.
As Bella recovered, her face twisted into a sneer, and she spat out, "You're just jealous that Drake chose me over you. You'll never be good enough for him, or anyone."
I chuckled, "Wow, girl." I looked directly into her eyes, "Your ass must get so fucking jealous of all the sh*t that comes out of your mouth."
The crowd around us burst into laughter, their amusement palpable as they watched Bella's face contort with rage. It was clear she didn't expect me to be this insulting.
Bella's eyes narrowed, and she opened her mouth to respond, but before she could get a word out, a smooth, familiar voice cut through the tension.
"Well, well, well. It seems like the party's getting interesting now." Drake casually strolled into the scene, a sly smirk playing on his lips as he took in the scene before him.
Bella's expression shifted instantly, her anger replaced by a saccharine sweetness as she sidled up to Drake, wrapping her arm around his waist. "Drake, honey," she cooed, "I'm so glad you're here."
Drake raised an eyebrow, glancing at me briefly before focusing his attention back on Bella. "Bella," he drawled, his voice dripping with mock concern, "it seems like you've been causing a scene again honey."
Bella's smile wavered slightly, and she let out a nervous laugh. "Oh, you know me, Drake. I'm just worried about Ava. I was just having some fun. Ava was bullying me."
