It was a sunny day, not too late, almost lunchtime when suddenly the entire sky began to cloud over.
-Y/n run inside the house!- her mother shouted from the door, and T/N obeyed without a second thought.
-Mama...- the little girl responded, scared. At only six years old, she was the smartest girl in her small village. She lived on a small farm with her parents. She had long brown hair, dark green eyes, freckles on her cheeks, and a smile that lit up her surroundings.
-Let's eat.- Said the little girl's father as he bolted the door.
-Yes, I'm very hungry.- The little girl responded with a smile, bouncing with happiness while holding her small teddy bear that her parents had given her for her birthday.
The three of them sat down to eat quietly. About 10 minutes later, they heard a loud noise from the village. They lived on the outskirts, far from the town, so the little girl's father quickly went to look out the window.
-Oh no!- He said, terrified as he saw the village burning and a mark of a skull with a snake coming out of its mouth in the sky. -Quick, we have to go! Honey, pack quickly and take only what's necessary, I'll grab the food.-The terror on his face was clear, and it spread to his wife and daughter.
They packed quickly and left with their cart and the only horse they had.
-Thank goodness, we managed to escape.- The father sighed, wiping the sweat from his forehead. -We're safe.-He said, looking at his wife and daughter, who was hugging her mother in fear in the cart.
-You think so!!-Someone responded from the shadows of the forest. -Catch them!!
Within seconds, all three were tied, kneeling on the ground.
-Parents first.-Said the one who seemed to be the leader. His face was hidden, as were the others; they were all wearing some sort of metal masks with ominous decorations.
-NOOO!!-The little girl screamed. "Leave my parents alone!"
-Shut that brat up.-The leader said to one of his companions, who obeyed without hesitation, covering the little girl's mouth with a clean black handkerchief he pulled from his pocket.
-We, the Death Eaters, will rule the world.-The leader said, pausing briefly. -Avada...
In a matter of seconds, the little girl's parents lay on the ground, lifeless. Her reaction was...unexpected. She didn't scream but glared furiously at all her enemies, especially the one who had killed her parents. She couldn't say anything because of the cloth in her mouth, so she clenched her teeth against it in rage. Suddenly, voices could be heard coming from the same path she and her parents had come from; it was more villagers. They didn't even have time to say a word before the Death Eater who had tied the handkerchief killed one of the elderly women, while his companions killed the others.
-You, take the brat and kill her in the forest, then burn her body.-The leader told the Death Eater who had tied the handkerchief over the girl's mouth.
-Ahhhhh!!-The little girl tried to scream, crying with fury. She couldn't do anything against these men who were much taller than her. The Death Eater grabbed her like a sack, her hands tied, and carried her deep into the forest. -Let me go! I'll kill you and your companions! I'll get my revenge! -She managed to free her mouth from the handkerchief, kicking, screaming, and crying as loudly as she could.
-Shut up, brat,-The older man responded, squeezing her tighter so she couldn't escape. Once they were far enough away from everything, he set her down from his shoulder. -Don't move.-He looked at her with cold eyes, and the little girl obeyed. She didn't want to die, but she knew it was inevitable. This was the moment she was going to be with her parents. Terrified, she closed her eyes, afraid, and when she opened them, she realized her hands were no longer tied. She slowly opened her eyes. She found the man kneeling on the ground, looking at her intently through that mask.
-Listen to me, little one, you'd better do it...-He whispered very close to her, making sure no one else could hear in case someone was nearby.
-You have to run. If you go straight, you'll reach the next village. Be smart, eat something there, get some clothes, and keep running. We are going to attack that village, and I don't want to see you there.
-Had he grown fond of the little girl, felt pity for her, or was it simply mercy? The little girl started crying again.
-Don't worry, I'm not going to kill you.-He said as he wiped one of her tears with his hand.
-Here, take this. It's magical, it will heal your wounds.-He said, removing the handkerchief he had used to cover her mouth, now hanging around the little girl's neck. She only nodded.
-Now, run!!-Then, the little girl did as she was told and ran as fast as she could....
Hi! I hope you enjoyed this new story. I was inspired by some Death Eater TikToks that I'm sure many of you know, the ones with the Sleep Token song. I searched to see if anyone had written a story like this, but I couldn't find anything, so I decided to create it myself!
