It was the 21st of July, and the warm summer sun poured down on Atlanta, welcoming Mae and Anya as they stepped off the plane at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. The bustling atmosphere of the airport felt alive with energy, and Mae's heart raced with excitement. This trip wasn't just any trip; it was a surprise visit for the twins' birthday, and she couldn't wait to see the Walton family again. They had spent so many hours on FaceTime, sharing their lives across the distance, but nothing could compare to the thrill of being together in person.

As they exited the terminal, Mae spotted Jessica and Jayla standing just beyond the security gates, eagerly scanning the crowd. Mae's face lit up, and she rushed forward, wrapping her arms around Jessica as soon as they made eye contact. "Surprise!" she exclaimed, feeling an overwhelming sense of joy.

"Mae! Anya! You made it!" Jessica shouted, her eyes sparkling with happiness. She hugged Anya next, her warmth enveloping both girls. "We're so glad you're here!"

Jayla jumped in, pulling Mae into another embrace. "I can't believe you're actually here! We've missed you so much!"

Mae felt her heart swell at the warmth of their welcome. It had been too long since she'd last seen them, and now she was finally back in Atlanta, where everything felt familiar yet new. "We've missed you too! We have so much to catch up on!"

As they made their way to the parking lot, the girls chatted excitedly about the trip. Mae couldn't help but think about how far she and Javon had come since that first kiss at the lodge. Their relationship had blossomed through countless messages, video calls, and late-night chats, but now they were about to make more memories together in person.

"Wait until you see the boys," Jayla said with a conspiratorial grin. "They're going to be so surprised!"

"Oh, I can't wait!" Mae replied, her excitement bubbling over. She was eager to see Javon again, to feel his arms around her and see that bright smile that never failed to make her heart race.

When they finally arrived at the Walton home, Mae and Anya exchanged glances filled with anticipation. Jessica led the way, calling out for the boys as they stepped through the front door. "Boys! Come downstairs! We have a surprise for you!"

A moment later, the sound of hurried footsteps echoed down the stairs, and the boys came tumbling into the living room, their faces a mix of confusion and excitement. Jaden was the first to spot Mae and Anya, his eyes widening in disbelief. "What? No way! You're here!"

"Surprise!" Mae laughed, her heart soaring as the boys rushed over to them.

Javon was right behind Jaden, his expression a perfect blend of shock and joy. "Mae!" he exclaimed, his arms opening wide. She stepped into his embrace, breathing in his familiar scent.

"I missed you so much!" she said, her voice muffled against his shoulder.

Javon pulled back, his gaze searching her face. "I missed you too. I can't believe you're finally here!"

"Me neither! And I have some amazing news!" Mae said, her excitement bubbling over. She glanced at Anya, who nodded in encouragement. "We both got accepted to Stanford!"

"Wait, seriously?" Jaden asked, his jaw dropping in disbelief. "You're moving to the States?"

"Yup! It means less distance for me and Javon, although there's still a bit since Stanford is in California," Mae explained, her heart racing. She could see the happiness spread across Javon's face, and it made her own smile widen.

"That's amazing!" DJ chimed in, stepping forward to congratulate them. "You both are going to love it there. This is just the beginning!"

As the evening progressed, Mae and the group fell into a comfortable rhythm. They all settled in the living room, exchanging stories and gossiping about what had happened since they last saw each other. Anya and Jaden shared laughs, their chemistry palpable as they teased each other. Mae couldn't help but feel a sense of joy watching her best friend find her footing with someone who made her so happy.
