Hey there, Regina George

"Violet, come on. I know you're mad, but you can't ignore me all day!" Juliet said, running to catch up with me. "Sure I can Juliet. I can ignore you for as long as I want. But do you know what you can't do? You can't leave your so called- best friend, with a creep like Jason, just so you can go drink. You're lucky he didn't molest me or something" I said angrily. I stopped and turned around to face Juliet, arms crossed, making her nearly run right into me. "Look Vi, I said I was sorry, okay? I didn't know he was gonna try and make out with you" she said, giving me a pleading look. I just glared at her. "Yeah, like hell you didn't know. You've known that he liked me for a long time. What did you think he was gonna do? Just because he's "hot" doesn't make him innocent. It just makes him extra stupid." Juliet bit her bottom lip, and looked up at me. I could see the tears forming in her eyes. Dear god, not this again. Juliet always tried to cry her way out of arguments. To make it seem like I was being mean or something, so that I'd feel bad and stop. Not that it ever worked on me. Just her parents. "Violet I really am sorry. Please don't be mad at me" she begged, tears starting to fall. That's it I'm done. "You know what? Forget it Juliet. I try and have a serious conversation with you, we're in the middle of an argument, where you're clearly at fault, and you're busy trying the crying thing with me again. Just forget it" I said furiously, turning on my heel, and continuing down the hall to my locker. Juliet didn't follow. She just stood there shocked. I hardly ever got mad at her. Honestly, I hardly ever got mad at anyone. I just stood there and took everyone's crap. I reached my locker, and began to spin the dial, trying to open the locker and not break it. These lockers are crap. One simple twist of the dial too hard, or a kick too rough, and you could break them. "Hey there, Regina George" a voice said smugly from behind me. I screamed, and spun around, my huge math book in hand, ready to beat whoever the person was behind me, over the head with it. Once I saw who it was though, I slowly lowered the book. "Easy there tiger" Angel said, putting her hands up in mock surrender. I frowned at her. "Why did you call me Regina George?" Angel laughed, grinning at me. "Because you're a mean girl, remember?" I raised my eyebrows. "Since when have I been a mean girl? Last I checked, I'm a generally nice person" I said, giving her a strange look. She just grinned like the Cheshire cat again. "Remember last night? You had "the talk" with that Jason guy?" I looked her, my eyes widening. "Excuse me? "The talk?" What are you implying?" I asked, starting to laugh, myself. Angel winked and said- "Whatever you want me to imply baby." I blushed. Oh god, if I were a guy, I'd most likely have a boner right now. Good thing I'm not, otherwise that'd give me away in an instant. Although, my cheeks weren't really helping the moment. Angel, sensing my discomfort, just smiled knowingly. "You okay there Violet?" She asked, looking me up and down. I simply nodded. "Well, I'd better get to class, otherwise I'm gonna be late" I said, grabbing a stack of books from my locker and slamming the door shut. Angel gave me an- are-you-kidding-me look. "Honey, I think it's a bit late to be on time for class." I rolled my eyes, and started down the hallway. "Hey, Violet wait!" She called after me. I stopped and turned around. "What Angel, I'm gonna be late" I said irritably. "You know, I'd like to get to know you better. What do you say we- what do the kids call it these days? Blow this joint, and go get some ice cream or something. Maybe have a threesome?" She said, winking adorably. I gave her an annoyed look. "I was kidding about that last one" she added quickly. I continued to stare at her, weighing my options. "Look Angel, you're great (and really hot- don't worry I didn't actually say that) but I'm not gonna ditch school. We're graduating soon. I can't ditch now." Angel sticks out her bottom lip, pretending to pout. "You're no fun. Okay fine, I see your point. However, I'm ditching cause this is boring. So, if you wanna see me again, meet me at the scoop, once school lets out. I'll wait till 3:40. If you don't show, I leave." I considered her offer. "Why the scoop? Do you really like ice cream that much?" Angel simply shrugged. "It's sweet. Like you." I rolled my eyes. "Alright tone it down with the cheesy pickup lines, or whatever these are. Wouldn't it just be easier to give me your number?" I asked, frowning. Angel shook her head. "Nope. Less romantic that way." My mouth fell open, and I stared at her incredulously. "Romantic? Who says I even like you romantically?"

"Who says you don't?" Angel said, shooting me that cunning look of hers again. "Now get to class before you're late." I rolled my eyes once again, and turned around, hoping to actually make it to my destination this time.
