I have come back to you with a new chapter, I hope you like it.
### **Chapter 13: Confessions Under the Stars**
It was a peaceful evening. The sun had set, leaving behind a sky streaked with shades of orange and pink. Naruto and Ino were sitting together on the balcony of Naruto's apartment, a gentle breeze brushing against their faces as they gazed out at the village below. The stars were just starting to appear, twinkling faintly in the growing darkness.
Naruto's apartment wasn't particularly big, but the view from the balcony was something special. From there, you could see the entire village of Konoha, the rooftops glowing with the soft lights of lanterns and homes. It was a quiet, tranquil place—perfect for the peaceful moment they were sharing.
Ino sat close to Naruto, her hand resting lightly in his, her fingers intertwined with his. They had been through so much together recently, and the bond between them had only grown stronger with each passing day. There was a certain comfort in the silence between them, a mutual understanding that didn't require words.
But tonight, Ino felt a nervous flutter in her chest. She had been thinking about it for a while now, ever since Naruto had confessed his feelings to her in the car. She had felt so much warmth and joy at his words, but there was something she hadn't yet fully said in return.
She glanced over at Naruto, who was leaning back in his chair, his eyes closed as he soaked in the evening air. His blond hair, tousled slightly by the wind, glowed faintly under the light of the stars. There was a peacefulness in his expression, a quiet strength that always made her feel safe.
Her heart beat a little faster.
"Naruto-kun..." she began softly, her voice barely above a whisper.
Naruto opened his eyes and turned to look at her, a gentle smile playing on his lips. "What's up, Ino-chan?"
Ino bit her lip, her cheeks flushing slightly. She had never been the shy type, not really. But when it came to Naruto, she found herself feeling a little more vulnerable, a little more unsure of what to say. She had grown so close to him, and she wanted to say what was on her mind, but it was harder than she thought.
"I... I wanted to tell you something," she said, her voice trembling just a little.
Naruto's smile softened, and he leaned in closer, giving her his full attention. "You can tell me anything, Ino-chan. You know that."
Ino nodded, feeling a surge of affection for him. How could he be so kind, so understanding all the time? It was one of the things she loved most about him.
"I just..." She paused, searching for the right words. "I wanted to say that... I really like you, Naruto-kun."
Naruto blinked, his cheeks turning a soft shade of pink. "You... you do?"
Ino nodded, her heart pounding in her chest. "Yes. I do. I've liked you for a long time now, even before everything that happened. But ever since you saved me... ever since you took care of me, I realized that my feelings are even stronger than I thought."
Naruto's face turned an even deeper shade of red, and he looked down at their hands, still intertwined. "I... I like you too, Ino-chan," he said, his voice quiet but full of sincerity. "I think... no, I know that I've fallen in love with you."
Ino's heart skipped a beat at his words, her eyes widening in surprise. She had always hoped he felt the same, but hearing him say it—hearing him confess his love—was something entirely different.
Before she could stop herself, she leaned in, closing the small gap between them, and pressed her lips to his.
It was a gentle kiss, soft and sweet, filled with all the affection and emotion they had been holding back. Naruto froze for a moment, caught off guard, but then he melted into the kiss, his hand tightening around hers as he kissed her back, just as softly.
