The sun had long set behind the skyline when Taehyung dragged himself through the door of his apartment. His muscles ached from the day's work, his mind clouded with exhaustion. Being a married man wasn't much different from his bachelor days, except for the warm comfort of knowing Jennie would be waiting for him when he got home.
Their love was one for the books-an ideal, sweet marriage built on mutual respect and affection. Sure, they had their moments, playful banter turning into minor disagreements, but nothing ever too serious. In the year since they'd married, their relationship had been filled with tender moments: soft kisses on the lips, gentle hugs, and long nights spent in each other's arms.Yet, despite the love between them, one thing had remained untouched-their physical intimacy. Jennie had always been shy, and Taehyung respected her boundaries, never pushing for more than she was ready to give. Their connection was already deep, and he was willing to wait for when she felt comfortable taking that step.
But tonight, something felt different. As soon as Taehyung stepped inside, he was met with the warm, soft glow of candlelight. The subtle scent of vanilla and jasmine filled the air, weaving a sensual atmosphere around him. His tired eyes widened in surprise. It wasn't like Jennie to set such a scene. He dropped his bag by the door, scanning the room, trying to make sense of what was happening.
And then he saw her.
Standing in the middle of their dimly lit living room, Jennie was a vision of unexpected seduction. Her figure was adorned in a sleek, fitted dress that clung to her in all the right ways. The soft glow from the candles accentuated her every curve, casting shadows that hinted at what lay beneath. Her hair cascaded down her shoulders in soft waves, framing her face as she locked eyes with him, a teasing smile playing on her lips.
"Welcome home," she purred softly, her voice carrying an edge of mischief.
Taehyung felt his heart skip a beat, but he quickly recovered, leaning against the doorframe with a casual smirk. His mind quickly pieced together what Jennie was hinting at, but instead of jumping into the moment, he decided to have a little fun.
"Oh, thank you," he replied, feigning innocence. "It's nice to come home to such a cozy atmosphere."
Jennie's brow twitched at his nonchalant tone. She took a small step forward, slowly approaching him, her heels clicking against the hardwood floor. Her fingers reached out, gently tugging at his coat, sliding it off his shoulders and letting it drop to the floor.
Taehyung watched her, his pulse quickening at her touch, but his playful smirk remained intact. He wanted to see how far she would go to break through his façade.
Jennie wasn't one to give up so easily, though. She moved closer, her fingers slipping around his tie, loosening it with practiced ease. The sensuality in her movements was undeniable, and Taehyung had to clench his fists behind his back to keep from giving in too soon.
"Thanks for that," he said with a teasing grin, pretending as if nothing was out of the ordinary. "You've been quite helpful tonight."
Jennie froze for a moment, her expression flickering with confusion. Wasn't he supposed to react? She was giving all the signs, and yet... nothing? Taehyung turned on his heel, walking toward their bedroom, leaving her standing there, puzzled. But Jennie wasn't done. Not tonight.
