A world-famous singer, mysterious and sometimes distant. She bears the burden of her fame and tries to cope with her growing popularity and inner feelings.
Olivia Martin:
A 17-year-old schoolgirl who comes from a small town and accidentally crosses Billie's path. She is artistically gifted, but has problems with her self-perception and feelings, especially with regard to her sexuality. Olivia is intelligent, passionate and has a rebellious side.

Olivia's best friends, who's also lesbian, but has a much more positive attitude to her coming out.

Olivia's little twin brother and pretty annoying, just like a typical sibling

An early love interest of Billie, who still has strong feelings for her.

Billie's brother and best friend, who acts as support for Billie, but also tries to direct her in her career sometimes.
