Emily admired the framed photos of pets lining the walls of Chifuyu's office. Each image captured a different animal in various charming poses—a fluffy white kitten curled up in a basket, a playful chihuahua splashing in a puddle, and a tabby cat perched on a windowsill. "These are so adorable," Emily commented, her eyes lighting up as she took in the photos.

Chifuyu grinned. "Right? I'm a sucker for these little creatures."

Emily nodded, glancing around. "You really love dogs and cats, don't you?"

"Absolutely," Chifuyu replied, a hint of pride in his voice.

Emily smiled. "I do too. It's always nice to meet someone who shares that love."

Chifuyu's eyes twinkled. "Would you like some coffee or tea?"

"Coffee, please," Emily answered.

Chifuyu went to the coffee machine in the corner of the office. The hum of the machine filled the room as he prepared the coffee, then poured it into two cups. He handed Emily one of the cups, and she couldn't help but chuckle at the sight of the adorable cup adorned with a cartoon cat wearing a tiny bowtie. The cat's playful expression seemed to brighten the mood.

"I should get a cat," Emily said with a grin.

Chifuyu agreed, "Yeah, you should. You seem like a cat person."

Emily raised an eyebrow in surprise. "Why do you say that?"

Chifuyu leaned back in his chair, taking a sip of his coffee. "Well, you seem to have a certain warmth about you. Cat people often have a bit of that quiet, observant nature. Plus, you've got that thoughtful vibe."

Emily laughed softly. "Well, I suppose I am a cat person. Thanks for the coffee."

They chatted about cats for a while, sharing stories about their favorite breeds and quirks. The conversation flowed easily, and Emily felt more at ease.

Eventually, Chifuyu brought the discussion back to the reason Emily had come. "So, you mentioned wanting to talk about Tokyo Manjikai. What exactly do you want to know?"

Emily took a deep breath. "I heard that you used to be a member of the gang. I'm curious about what led you to join them. What was it that drew you in?"

Chifuyu's expression turned reflective. "Yeah, I was a member. Before I joined them, I was a bit of a troublemaker. I used to mock everyone, and that earned me a lot of enemies. One day, I was ambushed by a gang. There were too many of them for me to handle on my own. But then, a guy named Baji showed up and rescued me."

He paused, a hint of admiration in his voice. "Baji was really cool—strong, confident, the kind of person who commanded respect without saying much. He was the first person I ever really looked up to, and he was a member of Tokyo Manjikai. I decided to join the gang because of him. I wanted to be part of something bigger and earn the respect I saw in him."
