The little bell jingled as I opened the door to the small ice cream shop. I looked around, not seeing Angel for a second. "Hey! Regina George! Over here!" A voice called to me from the back of the shop. Craning my neck, I managed to spot her, in a small booth near the back. I walked over to her and sat down. "I see you just couldn't wait to see me again, huh?" I put my elbows on the table, and my chin on top of my neatly folded hands. "Hey you invited me here. So what are we doing? Just sitting and downing ice cream for an hour?" Angel shook her head, and gave me a look like she couldn't believe I'd think she'd do such a thing. "Nah, I've got a better place to go. We just needed a meeting spot." I nodded. "So where are we going?" Angel smiled at me. "Well, I'll be leading the way. And you-" she paused, pulling a blindfold out of her purse "Won't know till we get there." I stared at her. "You want to blindfold me, and bring me somewhere? Why? I barely know you! For all I know, you could be a satanist who needs me for a sacrifice." Angel pursed her lips. "Vi, do I really look like a satanist to you? I just want it to be a surprise. Come on please?"
"How do I know that you're not gonna kidnap me? Or lead me off a cliff?" Angel rolled her eyes. "Do you trust me?" I laughed. "Are you really quoting Aladdin?" Angel sighed. "Look do you trust me?" She fixed me with an extremely serious look. "I was supposed to go to Juliet's house this afternoon! To look at dresses for prom!" I remembered suddenly. Angel cocked her head to the side. "Your friend who ditched you at Jason's party?" She asked curiously. "How did you know about that?" I asked, shocked. Angel gave me her mysterious smirk. "I heard you shouting about it in the hallway" she said, simply. "So. You trust me?" She held out the blindfold to me. I sat for a minute. Neither of us said a thing. I thought about Juliet. Ever since kindergarten, I had done everything with her. I had never really had any other friends. Considering I was never very outgoing, I didn't really make friends that easily, Social situations kinda weren't my thing. Sure, I had some acquaintances, but Juliet was my only real friend. Now this super hot girl was asking to take me somewhere blindfolded. Any sane person would say "no way, if you wanna take me somewhere, I should be able to see it" but it was sorta obvious that I wasn't sane. "Yes" I said. I reached out and took the blindfold.
