Fatima wiped Zac's tears, "I'm sorry to hear that but I will say this! You're a better man because your dad rescued you and Jerm and Jream are better children because you rescued them! Life isn't always what we make it but we have to make every moment and opportunity count, and you did just that!"
Zac looked up at Fatima, "Yoo how do you always know exactly what to say?"
Fatima, "That's because I have my own trauma and demons, and I have conquered just about all of them! One day the same will happen for you but until then you need to keep the faith and that starts by knowing your purpose whether it's basketball, parenting, being a brother, friend, and one day becoming a father and husband! Zac you have the power to break generational curses so your brother and sister will know which path to take, and which one could potentially blemish their character! It starts with you! I'm sure you mom had her own demons just like your brother has his! Which one of them are willing to make a change in this moment?"
Zac, "Neither!"
Fatima, "Exactly so that means you are Jream and Jerms only hope out of trauma, abuse, addiction, neglect, assault, and abandonment! But understand this, it's a fight that you cannot do alone! That's why I am here Zac! I believe in you! I will always believe in you! I know exactly what you can accomplish when you put your mind to it! I also know deep down inside there is a 5-year-old little boy longing and wishing to receive his mother's love! As hard as it may be, it's something that you may never receive but it's okay! Zac looked up at Fatima with tear-stained cheeks, "Why?"
Fatima wiped his tears, "Because you have made it this far without it! There are little boy's right now who look up to you! The whole world knows who Zachary Taylor is and knows what he can accomplish! You are already exactly where you were intended to be! Your mother and brother may not have been on this ride with you, but Your mother made it possible by doing the one thing no other woman could do!"
Zac, "And that is?"
Fatima, "Giving birth to you!"
Zac slouched over in Fatima's lap and she song to him, "Wondering why I did not die, I'll be happy to tell you why! No longer do I cry, when fake friends say goodbye! One day the well will dry, but I'll have the same reply! Even want to bring me down inside, but God said again I'll rise! God favors me!"
Fatima leaned down and kissed Zac's forehead and honestly his tears felt lighter, it was like he had a huge weight lifted off his shoulders! Zac sat up and pulled Fatima up from the chair!
Fatima, "Whoah where are we going Mr. Taylor?"
Zac, "We are about to ascend these stairs so I Zachary Taylor can show Fatima Wilson that she is truly worthy of being loved, cherished, vulnerable, a wife and definitely a mother!
