"You don't have to come," Saylor said to her boyfriend Michael.

"No Say I want to come," Michael answered.

"Why do you want to I might not play that much," Saylor said looking down at her feet.

"Oh baby, I want to come and support you because you are my girlfriend and I love you so much." Michael lifted her head and made her look in his eyes.

"I just don't want you to come and not see me play," Saylor whispered acting like she was about to break down.

"Hey look at me," Michael said forcing saylor to look at him. "I love you so much I want to come to your game. I don't care that you might not play."

Saylor tried to say something but Michael kept on talking. "I want to be there just in case you do. "

Saylor looked like she was about to cry. " Hey please don't cry. Please don't cry." Michael said looking into her sad eyes.

"What if I don't do well. I mean I haven't played in 2 months," Saylor said sadly.

"Come here," Michael said sitting down and pulling Saylor onto his lap. "You will do great. I know you Saylor you are going to do amazing because you work hard and you have the skills down."

"I know I have the skills down but what if they're not there tomorrow," Saylor said cuddling into michael's chest.

"They will be Say, you have been practicing nonstop since the doctor said it was okay to jog," Michael said trying to comfort Saylor.

"Okay," Saylor said regaining her confidence. "I really love you, you know?"

"Do you want to eat something?"Michael asked.

"No I think I'm just going to go to bed. I have to be up super early in the morning," Saylor said standing up.

"Okay baby girl, do you want me to tuck you in?" Michael asked giving her a cheeky smile.

"No Mikey, I can put myself to bed," she said sounding a little defensive.

Michael pretended to cry. Saylor rolled her eyes at him and kissed his cheek. Michael had a big smile on his face when Saylor pulled him off the couch and pushed him out the door.

She tried to close but, he put his foot in the way so the door couldn't shut.

"Hey!" Saylor said surprised.

"What I didn't want to say goodnight yet," he said looking straight into her eyes.

"I did," Saylor said harshly attempting to shut the door again.

"Say, I need to make sure you are okay," Michael pleaded.

"Mikey, I'll be fine."

"No I need to make sure. Just let me in."

"No."

"Yes."

"Noooo."

"Please please please please...I won't stop till you let me in......please please PLEASE," Michael begged.

"Fine if will get you to shut up," Saylor said moving over to let him back inside the house. As soon as she shut the door he dragged her up the stairs to her bedroom.

"Michael, you don't have to put me to bed. I'm a big girl," Saylor said attempting to get out of his grasp.

"Say, I just want to make sure you are safe. I don't want you to get hurt the night before your big game. I love you so much. I just couldn't live with myself if something happened to you and it was all my fault because I wasn't watching over you like a good boyfriend should. Just let me put you to sleep so that I can be certain that you are safe and I did my job as your boyfriend. Please let me," Michael cried. By this time Michael and Saylor both had tears pouring down their faces. Saylor was curled up into a ball. Michael was watching her his heart broke because he knew he caused those tears.

"Hey,hey, hey don't cry please don't cry it hurts me to see you cry," Michael managed to get out between sobs. Michael sat down next to Saylor and pulled her into a hug.

"Why are you crying?" Michael asked.

"I don't know you were crying so i started to cry," Saylor whispered.

"Oh baby, I'm sorry I didn't mean to make you cry," Michael said looking down at his feet.

"Hey Mikey, look at me. I love you that's why I started to cry because if you cry I cry," Saylor said. Michael looked up at her and kissed her cheek.

"Thank you," Michael said.

"For what," Saylor asked.

"Always being there you understand everything that is happening in my life no matter how small or dumb it may seem and I've never told you how much I appreciate it," Michael said sitting Saylor on the bed. "Now go to sleep you have a big day tomorrow."

"Okay," Saylor said laying down.

When Michael was just about to leave the room Saylor called back at him,"Oh yeah Mikey, you're welcome. I guess I never realised how important it was because I've just always done it," Saylor said putting a big smile on Michael's face.

"I love you,"

"I love you too,"

"To the moon,"

"And back,"

And with that Michael left.
