Chapter 3 Custodial nightmares

There's a saying I used to never think about, "Time flies when you're having fun." not sure who said that, but they were so right! Every day I wake up, we go to showers grab a clean uniform head to breakfast, and talk with the maids. There are so many who are so kind! I even talked with a custodian! Weeshus people are still scary though...and Palias people still kind of spook me but mabey one day!

Life as a spooky is tough, apparently were supposed to drink milk, but the one time I tried I Got so sick! I will never forget that day.

I received a plate of Getug Latek. I'm not sure how to pronounce it...I sat eating and was given milk curious I drank it. From their things are a little fuzzy I think I was given a second and third...and then all of a sudden, I groaned grabbing my stomach I rushed to the toilet barely closing the stalls, a maid following to make sure I was ok much to both our horror as I scream "OH GOD NO I CLOGGLED IT" Water overflows pooling the floor I sob feeling everything unravel...on the floor, Orphans scream I'm locked in the stall crying unable to stop the attack that just happened. Eventually,

Zere comes in barging into my stall and yells "OH DEAR HEAVENS that's rancid" before clearing her throat and trying not to laugh as she comforts me "Hey it's okay girl I'm sure it's fine." She tries not to laugh having hopped off the floor herself to hide from the water.

I sob "Girl no it's not...I can't stop HURTING" I try and take a breath "ALSO GET OUT OF MY STALL GIRL WHY ARE YOU TOILET STALKING ME NOW?!"

Zere nods Laughing before crawling on top of the stall door out, soon I hear someone "What seems to be..OH, DEAR HEAVENS" she tries to clear her throat as the explanations are given "Dear come out I promise everything will be fine. We do need to give you a checkup as that's.... not normal" Eventually the healer and Zere coax me out of the stall itself containing the Eldrich god Level threat and quickly closed the stall hiding the evidence as two custodians rush to seal the door for the time being. They helped me clean up before making our way to the doctor's office as I'm still clenching my stomach barely able to move, they ran some tests keeping me overnight as I was still in pain the medicine taking its time to settle in. eventually though something happens.

[Bunker ⚠️] During our investigation of this morning's incident, it was discovered the cause was a pipe burst! We thought we had it fixed but now the floors flooding again! Please as we open the curtains hurry to the bunker as Adelia is calling backup! The healer gets up "Come on dear we must go!" she helps me up my tired eyes a sign of the horror tonight included. We make our way to the bunker; I look at the bathroom wondering if I caused this somehow but notice nothing there...weird. I consider asking but decide to focus on getting to the bunker with the healer. We eventually make it, and she helps me lie down on a makeshift gurney she brought in, they look confused, but she mouths something calming them down lying down despite the pain and loud sounds of the bunker alarm I wonder if the medicine finally kicked in or if my exhaustion and pain reached a peek and I black out. I'm not sure how long I was out, I heard someone call but I just slept. Eventually, I felt like I was moving but didn't wake up to that either eventually I woke up in the ward again.

Zere was worried as she saw me and hugged me "FRAY YOUR OKAY" she hugged me sobbing "Girl you had me scared!"

I hug back relieved to be okay albeit disorientated "Girl what happened?"

she sighs crossing her arms "YOUR LACTOSE INTOLLERANT!" I look shocked as she continues "YOU DRANK SO MUCH MILK YOU-"

Her voice muffles as I cover it my face reddening "SHUUUUUUSSSHH" She nods laughing as she hugs me and I hug her, we make our way out and shower grabbing a new uniform. "By the way if you ever bust in a stall like that again I swear girl" we both laugh. I had saved up a bit and found a little mini cooking set in the spooky orphan's room I made 2 cakes one for the healer and one for the custodians, both tried it before promptly making a face smiling and running out leaving me confused. Later as I see a custodian I go to greet them but they seem quite short I see a few files in the bathrooms with cleaning supplies and such, so I sneak in and spy to see what they're doing realizing they are cleaning up the mess I don't even hesitate. Grabbing a mop rag and spray from the bucket they set aside I began to help At first they protested a little irritated until I turned to them "Look this is my fault, I drank the milk. No one should clean this horror alone. Let me at least clean up the mess I made." they nod allowing me hours pass but soon we have cleaned up the custodians worst nightmare.
