The sun hung low over Barcelona, casting a warm, golden hue over the city. Toni  leaned against the railing of the terrace, watching the city as it buzzed with life.

A soft breeze played with the strands of his hair, but his mind was elsewhere—on you.

He couldn't help but smile as he thought of you, his heart swelling with the warmth that your presence brought him.

From the first moment he saw you, there was something about you that drew him in. You weren’t like anyone else. The way you carried yourself, the light in your eyes whenever you spoke about your passions—it was impossible not to be captivated by you.

And now, here he was, unable to stop thinking about you, the woman who had somehow become the center of his world.

He remembered the first time you met, at a casual gathering of mutual friends. He’d noticed you from across the room, your laughter carrying over to where he stood, and he couldn’t resist introducing himself.

You were wearing that smile, the one that made his heart skip a beat, and from that moment on, Toni knew he was done for.

Now, months later, as the bond between you deepened, Toni found himself thinking about the future. He wasn’t one to rush things, but with you, it was different.

He knew what he felt for you was real—there was no hesitation, no second-guessing. He was ready to love you with everything he had.

Toni turned away from the view and walked back inside the apartment, his footsteps echoing softly across the hardwood floor.

He picked up his phone from the coffee table and opened your chat, scrolling through the messages, your playful banter, your deep conversations about life, and the little moments you had shared. It was as though every word you’d exchanged was imprinted on his heart.

And then, a message from you popped up.

"I’m thinking about you. Want to meet later?"

Toni’s heart raced. Of course, you were on his mind too, but seeing you put it into words made him feel that surge of emotion all over again. His fingers hovered over the screen for a second before he typed a quick response.

"I’m on my way."

When he arrived at your place, the familiar sight of you standing in the doorway brought a wave of comfort and joy. Your eyes lit up the moment you saw him, and he couldn’t help but pull you into his arms, holding you close for a few moments longer than usual.

You look beautiful,” he whispered into your hair, feeling the softness of your embrace. You smiled against his chest, and he swore he felt his heart melt right then and there.

You always know what to say,” you teased, pulling back just enough to look into his eyes.

He chuckled softly, tucking a strand of your hair behind your ear.

Only because you make it easy.

Together, you walked down the narrow streets of the old part of the city, the air filled with the scent of fresh bread from the nearby bakery. The lights twinkled in the evening dusk, giving the world around you a magical glow.

Toni could feel the unspoken connection between you two—every glance, every touch carried meaning. It was the kind of love that needed no words to be understood.

As you reached the park near your favorite spot, Toni slowed down, gently taking your hand in his. He had always been the type to show his love through gestures—small things that made you feel cherished. But tonight, he wanted to say it, to make sure you knew exactly how he felt.

You both sat down on a bench overlooking the city lights, the gentle hum of the city providing a comforting backdrop. Toni turned toward you, his thumb brushing over your knuckles as he looked into your eyes.

I’ve been thinking,” he started, his voice soft yet steady.

About us. About you.

You tilted your head slightly, curiosity flickering in your gaze.

What about me?

Toni paused for a moment, gathering his thoughts. This wasn’t easy for him—opening up like this, but for you, he’d do anything.

I’ve never felt like this before,” he admitted, his eyes never leaving yours.

From the moment I met you, I knew there was something special about you. And the more time we spend together, the more certain I become. I... I love you.

Your breath hitched, and for a second, Toni worried he had said too much too soon. But then you smiled—one of those radiant smiles that always made his heart soar.

I love you too, Toni.

Relief and joy washed over him all at once. He pulled you closer, his forehead resting against yours, as the words he had been holding onto for so long finally found their way out.

Yo te voy a amar, siempre,” he whispered, his voice thick with emotion.

"I will love you always."

And in that moment, everything felt right.

The city lights shimmered around you, the world seemed to fade away, and all that mattered was the two of you, wrapped in each other’s love, knowing that this was only the beginning of something beautiful.

Toni knew that whatever the future held, he would face it with you by his side.

Because loving you was the easiest thing he had ever done—and he was going to spend the rest of his life showing you just how much you meant to him.
