"This is Angela Chen, reporting live from a sight of a massive battle between the Justice League and a group of, what can only be described as, super villains-calling themselves; The Legion of Doom." The news plays on the TV of the super-heroine Rune's hideout.
Rune pulls down the hood of her super-suit as she walks towards the entrance.
She hovers on her hoverboard for a moment, then speeding straight up, she throws her glisp(a multi-functional staff designed by her.) which forms a portal through which she disappears.
Rune ducks just as Lex Luther throws Superman into the entrance of the now-destroyed Hall of Justice.
"Am I late?" Rune exclaims.
"Just in time, Rune." Cyborg implodes, as he stands up.
"Sorry!" she says.
Just then she saw Batman readying himself to fight Solomon Grundy. Who seems to have been electrocuted but it only made him more mad.
She jumps in front of Batman, kicking the other guy using the force, knocking him down.
Batman nods at her, and turns around, speaking into his comm.
"Robin, report. How's crowd control?" he inquires. Rune looked away awkwardly at the mention of Damian.
She got on her hoverboard and went to help the others. She saw Superman struggling with Lex Luther. She used her glisp to laser the Luther's suit, making him defenceless against Superman.
"Thanks, Rune!" He called out. She showed the peace sign and went on.
She was just in time to help Flash catch the Weather Wizard. Then she helped Cyborg by distracting Toymaster, giving him a clear shot.
All the members who had, now, finished their fight gathered around.
"Good Work, Team," Superman said.
"Too bad Shazam and Lantern had to miss it," Cyborg said.
"Yeah, slackers." Flash said.
"You're late." Wonder Woman, who was like an older sister to Rune, playfully scolded her.
"Cyborg said I wasn't," Rune replied with a shrug. All looked at Cyborg.
"Yeah, throw me under the bus," He retorted.
"Sorry, Cy!" Rune said.
Rune receives a notification,she checks it using her glisp and says,
"Hey, I gotta run-" but was interrupted by the Weather Wizard trying to escape.
"Go on, we got this." Flash says, others nodding in agreement.
Rune made a portal and left.
