Hi hi, Tempest here with a sneak peek of an upcoming book!🦈

BUT! Before you read the sneak peek, I gotta let you guys know a couple of things. One, this story is NOT recommended for people who don't like gore, blood, violence, and stuff like that. It would be rated 16+ but I'm pretty sure I have a couple of younglings here so IF you're under 16 but don't mind any of the warnings, then you can go ahead and read it.

I'm gonna try to be very detailed so the gory shit may gross you out, keyword, try. This is my first time writing gore so it might not be good, I apologize if it isn't.

And another thing; this story is mainly going to be about Rayna, Amadeo, and Luca. Benjamin and Pico will be in the story, but not as much. That's all I'm going to say about them because I don't want to spoil it.

One last thing; the story takes place in an apocalyptic world.

The three siblings stood outside of the worn down building, hoping that their dads were here. Rayna took her gun out and checked the bullets, as Amadeo did the same.

"How many do you have?" The older sibling asked.

"Three." Amadeo said, looking at the small girl confused as she gave him three bullets.

"Why are you giving this to me??"
"In case you run out, besides, you only have a gun." The petite ginger stated.
"What if you run out though?" The inky blonde asked worriedly.

"The gun is going to be a last resort, remember we have to be as quiet as possible. Which is why I grabbed this for you." She took a hammer out of her bookbag and handed it to him.
"Damn. T..This seems brutal to use, even for me. I'm not really trying to kill anyone." Amadeo glanced at her and the hammer in shock.

"K-Kill?!" Luca said surprised.
"We aren't trying to kill anyone, it's for self defense." Rayna reassured.
"Right. So what's the plan?" Amadeo asked, patting Luca's head as he leaned into his arm with a whine.

"When we go in, we're going to spilt up. You two are going to check the first floor and I'll check the second floor, avoid getting caught and hide if you have to. If you overhear someone talking about daddy and papa, eavesdrop on them. If you found anything, we can communicate with these." She gave him a walkie-talkie.

"Ray, the second floor was where those guys mainly were. Some were armed, I'm not doubting your skills but the only time you had to get physical was when that bandit broke into our house a couple of months ago. Maybe we should stick together.." Amadeo tried to convince her, but Rayna shook her head.

"You're right, but it would be safer if you two stay away from where the people are. Besides, there's a higher chance that they might be on the second floor. If there's armed people there, then they may be hiding something.." Rayna looked up at the building.

"Alright alright, let's get them and get the fuck out." Amadeo put his gun away and held the hammer out.
"Yeah. Lulu, stay with bubba ok?" The small girl smiled at the youngest sibling, he nodded and hugged her.
"Be careful please." He begged, Amadeo also hugged her. Rayna happily hugged them.

"I will, you guys be careful as well." She smiled at them, they nodded and pulled away, looking at the building.

"Ready?" Amadeo asked.
"Ready." She stealthy walked towards the side of the building, her younger brothers following behind. Rayna opened the backdoor carefully and went inside first, she looked around the area before giving them the ok to come in as well.

"You remember where the stairs are?" The inky blonde asked in a whisper, she nodded.

"Be careful and try to be stealthy ok?" Rayna asked, they nodded. And with that they split up, the boys checked downstairs while Rayna went upstairs. Once the petite ginger was upstairs, she looked through the hallway.

"Damn." She muttered to herself, she hid behind the wall. There was two people standing in front of a door at the end of the hallway. Rayna thought about what to do.

Taking them on at once would be an bad idea, plus one has a gun. At least there isn't much people as there was when Amadeo checked through the binoculars. So that worked in her favor. Rayna preferred not to get physical, but that may not happen-

"Hey, what the hell was that?"

Rayna looked down, noticing that she accidentally kicked a bottle forward.
"Shit." She muttered to herself, taking her knife out hearing footsteps come towards her. Rayna prepared herself to deal with the person. Once they saw her, she immediately grabbed them and pinned them to the wall. She held her knife up to the teen's head.

"I'm looking for two men, one has blonde hair and black eyes. The other has ginger hair and white eyes, have you seen them?" Rayna asked in a whisper, keeping her grip on him.
"You know them??" The teen asked, his tone filled with worry. She nodded.

"I..I can't let you over there." He said, getting ready to yell for help. Rayna bashed him in the head with her gun, immediately knocking him out. She set him on the floor carefully so he wouldn't hit the ground hard. Rayna peeked around the corner and went over to a desk that was in the hallway, she was going to get closer but stayed still once she heard the woman standing guard talking. She glanced at the tall woman and saw her on a walkie talkie.

Rayna decided to come up with a plan to not draw attention to herself, but that all changed when she heard something come out of the woman's mouth.

"You want me to get rid of them? Alright." The woman put her walkie talkie away and went into the room, Rayna got up and followed her. Her heart started racing hearing a familiar voice talk, Rayna saw a bat sitting in the corner of the room. She rushed in and grabbed the bat, the woman quickly turned around hearing the small girl's footsteps.

"Who the hell are you-"
Rayna bashed her in the head with the bat, blood rushed down her forehead as she fell to the ground harshly. The petite ginger gasped and dropped the bat, she kneeled down in front of the woman.

"Oh shit..!" She checked to see if she was alive, Rayna sighed with relief. The woman just passed out.

"R..Rayna..??"

The small girl looked up towards the person calling her name, she dropped the bat. Tears rushed down her cheeks seeing the state the person was in, her shaky hands covered her mouth.

"P-"
