It's Monday. Time for school. Harry walked up to the mirror and looked at himself. He stared at the bruises. It was now blue-black. He buttoned up his white collared t-shirt and ran a comb through his curls.
He arrived at school. He was lucky that today he didn't have any classes with Max and his friends. The only class they have together on Mondays is math but during Maths class, Max and his friends have to sit in the front row as they are failing the subject. So he's safe. All he has to worry about now is after school. He couldn't imagine getting beat up again.
The bruises still ache and getting hit again would only make everything worse, so much worse.
The final bell rang.
He grabbed his things hoping that he would not run into them again. He looked down and walked fast. Just as he was about to walk out the school doors, he felt a strong tug at his collar. He choked. His body slammed into the lockers and he fell down. Max curled up his fists. Harry closed his eyes, and his eyes were tearing up. Suddenly, he heard a punch. But it didn't hit him. 'What happened?' he thought to himself. His body was trembling. He looked up and saw Louis standing in front of him.
Max stumbled backwards and yelled "What the hell Louis?" Louis said "Why are you doing this to him? What has he ever done to you?" Max stared at him and answered "He's a nerdy gay boy! That's why!" Louis lifted up his eyebrows and replied "So just because he's gay? So you have something against gays? You got a problem with gays? "
"Yeah Tomlinson. I do!" he said, "Well then, you have a problem with me too." Louis said firmly. ' Max didn't move, he was shocked. Harry couldn't believe what he had just heard. So many thoughts rushed through Harry's mind. 'Did he just come out?' 'Did he just save me?' 'He is gay?'
"Leave now before I hit you again. Cause I can do much worse than that. Now LEAVE! And never bother Harry again you hear me? Or you will be sorry." Louis yelled. Harry's cheeks were hot. He couldn't believe it. Did his crush just stand up for him? Did Louis Tomlinson just save him?
