~mdlg~mommy pov:
if theres one thing about emerson its that she loves climbing, she truly believes everything is a trampoline park or a jungle gym.
she flips around all day getting hurt but getting right back up to do the same thing that got her hurt previously.
she truly is just my little tumbler.
but specifically today i could not keep her off the table! " EMMY! get off the table " i shouted as she giggled jumping up and down i groaned in tiredness having to grab her off the table for the million time JUST THIS MORNING.
" you sit and you dont move you hear me " i say as she screams laughing and runs to get back up.
so i sat her again. she got up
i sat her again. she got up.
and i sat her again. she got up
i sat her again. she got up
i sat her again! she got up laughing
and i sat her once more with a nice pop to her bottom as she covered her eyes sniffling" stay. here. do you hear me " i say slowly holding her legs down as she angrily turned away from me. i sighed and got up to go decide what i was going to cook for dinner and for lunch, and i promise you not even 5 minutes later i turned around and just guess who i found sitting on the table.
" Emerson Dolan, you get your butt off that table and into a chair right this instant your ill pop you once more " i say as she lays on the table ignoring me and kicking her feet.
i had no choice but to grab her and hold her near me, she groaned trying to leave me but i kept holding her. " mommy is tired emmy you cannot keep climbing on the table or youll get a boo boo! do you want a boo boo " i say as she nods yes " NO! you dont now go to your room and read your done climbing go! " i say as she stomps to her room.

it was about an hour later after i sent emerson to her room, i went to check up on her and believe it or not found her tumbling all over her bed! why must this little girl have all the energy in the world right now i sigh.
then all of a sudden THUD!!
she falls off the bed. i heard her giggle at first then came the tears i walked in and went to pick her up as she just cried into my chest
i sat with her on her bed rocking her back and forth as she cried holding onto me
" no more jumping mommy " she cried as i just held her " good baby " i say as she sniffles " i pr-omise i will b-be good! no more b-boo boos " she hiccuped" and no more climbing tables huh " i remind her as she nodded her head.
-
she really kept her promise i was so proud that was until she started slipping deeper into headspace going into the age of 2.
now she was really climbing again!
save me.
