(ISADORA'S POV)
When I opened my eyes, the air was cool and refreshing. I lay at the foot of a stunning waterfall, the water cascading down rocks, shimmering like diamonds in the sunlight. As I attempted to sit up, pain radiated through my side, reminding me of the fall.
"Are you alright?" A voice broke through the tranquil sound of water. I turned to see a young tribesperson, their hair wild and eyes filled with concern. "You took quite a tumble."
"I... I think so," I stammered, trying to piece together what had happened. "But my friends, they need me! I was with Julian—he was hurt!"
"Your horse brought you here," the tribesperson said, kneeling beside me. "I'm Kira. I can help you."
Kira examined my injury with gentle hands, their touch surprisingly soothing. "You'll be alright, but we need to get you back to your group quickly. The forest can be dangerous."
"Thank you, Kira," I replied, my voice shaky. "What about Julian? Is he safe?"
"They will be looking for you," Kira assured me. "But we must move fast."
With Kira's help, I rose to my feet, wincing at the pain but determined to return to my friends. "Can you lead me back?"
"Yes, follow me," Kira said, their demeanor shifting from concern to focus. "I know these woods well."
