As the days pass, my thoughts about Minseo only seem to grow stronger, and I can't help but feel a surge of hope every time I think about her. What if there's a chance for us? But with that hope comes a frustrating reality: I still don't have a way to contact her. How do I even bridge this gap?
Then, an idea strikes me out of nowhere. What if I do a live broadcast? I chuckle at the thought, imagining how wild that would be. If I go live, maybe Minseo will see it. She's a writer; she has to know how to find cool things online, right? I can talk, share a little of my world, and maybe, just maybe, she'll feel drawn to me again.
I set everything up in my apartment, arranging the camera, making sure the lighting is just right. My heart races with excitement. I grab my favorite drink and settle into my couch, ready to connect with ARMY while hoping Minseo is watching.
As I hit the "Go Live" button, I can feel a buzz of energy coursing through me. The chat explodes with comments, and I can't help but smile. "Hey, everyone! It's Jungkook here!" I say. I wait for the ARMY to tune in. Purple hearts fill up the comment section and I giggle, "I haven't told the company that I'm doing a broadcast. They'll contact me as soon as I end this."
Honestly though, I'm not afraid of the company. I can do what I want to, right?
The comments flood in, and I see familiar usernames mixed with new ones. I take a sip of my drink, letting the warmth settle in my chest. "Today, I thought I'd just hang out with you guys and chat. I've been feeling a little lost lately, so I figured this might help."
I talk about the latest updates in my life, the excitement of solo projects, and how ARMY has always been my anchor. "You guys are amazing! Seriously, I don't know what I'd do without you."
As I read through the comments, I can't resist flirting a little. "Someone said I look cute today. Well, I appreciate that! But honestly, it's you guys who make me feel cute." I laugh, and the comments are flooded with heart emojis and compliments.
I keep glancing at the chat, hoping to see something from her. "Anyone out there sipping on a caramel macchiato?" I ask, smirking playfully. "It's the best drink, you know. Perfect for a chill day."
I get distracted, laughing at ARMY's playful banter, but every now and then, my mind wanders back to Minseo. What would she think of this? Would she laugh? Would she feel the connection?
"Be my boyfriend for 3 seconds. Okay, deal. One, two, three. ARMY I have a sad news. I was in a relationship with someone but we're no longer together." I say, faking tears. Then I burst out laughing, "You guys literally have the best sense of humour to be honest. And I'm here for it."
I wait for more comments. One pops up, "Will you marry me? Well, can you handle me?" I wink at the camera, hoping that Minseo might catch it. Laughing emojis bubble up and fill in the chats, making me feel relieved. ARMY appreciates my flirty side.
"We have Bam here! Bam, say hi!!!" My dog Bam begins jumping all over me, licking my face, "Okay, okay, Bammie, calm down!" I tell him and continue reading the comments.
"What's your ideal date?" I read and pause for effect, my heart racing. "Hmm, maybe grabbing coffee with someone who inspires me?"
I lean in closer to the camera, hoping the cheekiness in my tone shines through. "So, if you're out there watching, maybe you'd like to join me for a caramel macchiato sometime?"
I laugh, but my heart beats wildly. If only she could see this. I keep the chat flowing, engaging with ARMY, but my eyes occasionally dart to the screen, searching for any sign of her. C'mon, Minseo. Just one comment, one sign that you're out there.
As the live broadcast continues, I feel a mix of hope and anxiety. I know it's a long shot, but this feels like the best way to reach out. Maybe she'll be watching. Maybe she'll smile at my awkwardness. Maybe she'll feel the pull too.
"Alright, guys, I think I'm going to wrap it up soon," I say, feeling a bittersweet twinge. "But before I go, just remember to chase your dreams and stay inspired. You never know when you'll meet someone who changes everything."
With that, I finish my drink, the warmth lingering in my chest as I log off. I hope she saw. I hope she felt something, too. And as I sit back, I can't help but feel that this isn't the end. It's just the beginning.
