Paige POV

It's been six days, three hours, and twenty two minutes since I showed Andy that picture of Juliet and another guy. I've texted him, but he wont answer. I'm at a loss. What does one even do in this situation? I decided to call him instead, but I got his voice mail.

"Hey, Andy. It's me, Paige. I have no idea what you're feeling, but I'm here for you, Andy, I am. Please just answer me. We can talk, or go to Taco Bell, or do whatever. Please, Andy, just pick up your phone. Hopefully I'll hear from you soon. Bye."

There was a knock on the door.

"I got it!" Skylar yelled from downstairs. Hopefully it wasn't Mom, because I didn't feel like dealing with her. She went out two nights ago and hasn't come back yet.

"Hey, Sky." I heard Lex's voice from downstairs. "Where's Paige?"

"Her room."

I heard Lex's boots clomping up the stairs. She opened my door and stood in the door way, taking in my appearance. "Damn, Reed. You look like hell."

"No shit. I haven't slept in two days because I don't want to miss my phone if it rings. I should have never showed him that picture, I should've let one of the guys do it."

"Paige, you did the right thing."

"It doesn't feel like it, Lexus. It feels like I ruined the one good thing in my life. He hasn't talked to me in six days. He hasn't posted anything on social media. And the worst part is Juliet flaunting her new relationship. It just really, really sucks."

She sighed. "He wrote you a letter."

My head snapped in her direction. "What?"

She pulled a folded piece of paper from the back pocket of her jeans.

"I have no clue what's in it. He gave it to me and said to give it right to you."

I hesitated before unfolding it. What if it said that he never wanted to see me again? Or that he was pissed at me for showing him that picture.

Paige Allison,

The last few days have been a whirlwind. I'm trying to deal with my emotions, but am finding that it's difficult to do. I'm not mad at you; I don't think I could ever be mad at you. I miss you, I truly do. I know it may be hard to do, but please just wait a little bit for me to come around. I can't wait to see you again. Tell Skylar I say hello.

- Andy

"So what does it say?" Lexus asked.

"Everything I needed to hear."

Skylar and I sat on the living room floor, eating pizza, and watching Grey's Anatomy reruns. The door opened and slammed shut, signaling that our mother was home. She was drunker than I had ever seen her.

"Sky, stay here." I said. I got up and found my mother sitting on the bottom step. "You need help?"

She nodded a response, too drunk for words. I grabbed her arm and dragged her up the stairs. Her breath wreaked of vodka and smoke. I got her settled in the bathtub, because puke is easier to clean up when it's on tile.

Skylar stared at the floor when I returned to the living room.

"She's really bad, isn't she?" She asked, her voice barely audible.

"Yeah. She needs help, but she wont listen when anyone tells her that. We'll be fine, though."

"Where's Andy been? I miss him."

I hadn't told her what'd happened. I didn't feel like exploiting his personal life.

"He's been sick."

I've always been a terrible liar, especially to Sky. I knew she didn't believe what I said, but for my sake, she replied, "Alright."

We finished our pizza and a couple more episodes of Grey's before we both passed out on the floor.

Y'all have been begging me for this, so after a year, here it is.

I'm slowly getting some ideas for this, so I'll try--no promises--to update a little more.

XoXo
