Kaito, Taro, Lian, and their new allies stood before Charon, the ferryman.
"Your destiny calls," Charon repeated, his weathered face creasing into a smile.
Kaito steeled himself. "We're ready."
Charon nodded. "Then let us begin."
He guided them across the River Styx, its dark waters swirling beneath.
Into the Underworld.
A realm of shadows and darkness.
Where lost souls dwelled.
As they navigated the treacherous landscape, they encountered the Asphodel Meadows.
Where shades of the neutral dwelled.
Neither good nor evil.
Just existing.
Next, they reached the Golden Throne Room.
Where the Three Judges presided.
Minos, Rhadamanthus, and Aeacus.
"Who dares to disturb the Underworld?" Minos asked, his voice booming.
Kaito stepped forward. "We seek to defeat Ryujin."
Rhadamanthus eyed them critically. "Your souls will be weighed."
Aeacus nodded. "And judged worthy... or unworthy."
The judges presented three trials.
Trial of Courage.
Trial of Wisdom.
Trial of Loyalty.
Kaito, Taro, and Lian faced each trial.
Proving their worth.
Their bond and determination.
Their souls were weighed.
And judged worthy.
The judges revealed a hidden path.
Leading to the Temple of the Elements.
"Ryujin's powers grow stronger," Aeacus warned.
Kaito's resolve hardened. "We won't falter."
As they exited the Underworld.
They met a mysterious figure.
"I am Hades," he said. "Lord of the Underworld."
Hades' piercing gaze scrutinized them.
"I will aid you... for now."
His motives unclear.
Their alliance uncertain.
But one thing was certain.
Their journey was far from over.
Hades introduced them to his realm.
The Palace of the Underworld.
The Rivers of the Underworld.
The Fields of Punishment.
And the Isles of the Blessed.
Kaito, Taro, and Lian witnessed the depths.
Of the Underworld.
And the secrets it held.
Their understanding grew.
Of the realms and their balance.
As they prepared to face Ryujin.
Their determination solidified.
