My first year of 8th grade, what a trouble maker I was. I walked into my language arts class and had seen my friends. They wave at me. I sat down in class and my teacher began talking. "Today Mr.McGann's class will join us so we can tell both classes at one time."

My friends and I sat there and Mr.McGann's class came in the room I was in. They started talking and a minute later they put on a video. I was messing around with my friend next to me and taking selfies. I turned the back camera on and the flash went off. Got in trouble and they made me bring the phone up to the front of the class. I moved on to 7th period and Mr.McGann pulled me out of math class. He asked me how many pictures I took and I told him one. He had the phone with him and he scrolled through all the picture I took, he made me count all of them in front of him.

There was 23 pictures on the phone, so he gave me 23 detentions. I went back into the class room and my detentions started the next day. So for the next 4 days I sat in the library for lunch. The vice principle pulled me into the office and said he talked to Mr.McGann about me getting in trouble. He said that if. I apologize to Mr. McGann I wouldn't have to go to lunch detention anymore. So I wrote him a note saying I was sorry.

The next day we combined classes again and he made a cute joke saying "I mean you could be Sydney here and take selfies in class." Then he winked at me. I thought to myself right then and there, this guy is a cutie. He helped me a lot in school and was very sweet. He continued to wink at me. I smiled at him and he winked and it just made me smile even more. I began to really like him. He soon noticed I liked him more than just a teacher, he wanted me to understand that I couldn't think that. Everyone in the school knew I liked him.

He was still sweet as can be and he still helped me in school. He just wasn't the same . He coached track and I played softball but I watched him everyday. He was an amazing coach, very funny and nice. So positive and uplifting. I ran a lot and I was very athletic, I always ran. Before, during and after practice. I ran by him one time and he said "hey you should have ran track." I began to wish I would have ran instead of playing softball.

Th year began to go by and I think he got stressed out. I could tell a huge difference from the time I met him. I noticed his back was hurting and I asked him if he was okay. He said he was and he Thanked me for asking.
During the school year I would but him pizza and we would eat lunch together, sometimes I would skip lunch and we would just talk and laugh.

Time passed and I just didn't talk to him anymore I looked at him and he looked at me, then we both turned away. I never really knew what happened. The schools Washington D.C trip came and I left. He didn't come, that was my last week of school. I said goodbye to him and gave him a picture of him and I that we took at the Christmas dance. He laughed and said "thank you oh my god that's really funny." We went in a photo booth and took some ridiculous pictures.
Writing this during the summer before freshman year, maybe him and I will talk again and be closer than before. I will wait for as long as it takes, because he's my crush.❤️
