Chapter 6: The Kiss XD

Sorry for all the short chapters..... I'm trying to make them longer. Anyways.... ENJOY!!!

Tooth's POV.

North opened the door and revealed a..... bedroom with a bookcase?

"Umm I thought you said this was a training room." Bunny states looking at North. Me and Nature nod.

"Yes, follow me." North says walking in. We all exchange glances and follow..... again. We make our way over to the bookcase and North moves a bright red one. The bookcase moves to reveal a secret room. I should have guessed....... classic move. We all step in and the room puts up targets and dummies. "Tooth, here you might need this." North says handing me a wooden crossbow complete with arrows. "Or you can use these." He says holding out over a dozen crystal daggers. I take the daggers.

"Thank you." I say smiling. "They even have teeth on the the end!" I say turning them over and noticing the golden teeth. Some of the crystals are blue and some are gold. I am so excited to try them out! I look at Nature and see that she is taking a little, wooden septer from a fox. The septer is short with a little ball/orb thing on it that's glowing green. The color changes with the seasons, like it turns orange for autumn. I decide to throw a dagger at one of the targets and guess what.......... it comes back! I guess its like Bunny's boomarangs... just in dagger form, and it flips back to me instead of making a circle around. We all start training and the targets and dummies disappear.

"North, what just happened?" Nature asks. Before North can answer, the room replies in a deep, technological voice.

"You need a more effective attack system. Pitch is not going to be easy to defeat." It says. Pitch and Cupid shaped dummies appear and the room tells us to attack. I run at the Cupid dummy and start slicing it with my daggers. I kick it multiple times until it is demolished. Then it's the Pitch dummy's turn. In a matter of minutes it is finished. "Tooth," I turn at my name. "You're ready."

I turn to the other Guardians and yell. "I'm gonna go cool off." I fly out a window and make my way to Burgess, I realize it's already night, and it only takes me about 15 minutes to get there. I decide to fly around for awhile and end up in a forest. I fly around and see a broken bed with a hole under it. My curiousity gets the best of me and I go down it. I fall for about 30 seconds. Wait, I can fly....... duh. I silently fly around. It's really dark and has lots of stone. In one room there's a bunch of huge cages hanging from the roof. Straight ahead there is another room but i decide to take a right and go through a hallway. The hallway is short and at the end there is a little stairway with wooden and stone steps. I choose to go down the stairway, but I don't let my guard down one second.

Jack's POV.

I hear someone stepping down the stairs into my cell/room/dungeon thing and I turn my head away, expecting Pitch or Cupid. Wait, that doesn't sound like stepping..... it sounds like flying. I turn my head back to the doorway that doesn't actually have a door to see Tooth.

"Tooth!" I yell leaning forwards. My arms are still behind my because Pitch reshortened my chains and took the ones on my feet off.

"Jack!" she screams flying over and hugging me. She gasps, putting her hands over her mouth and nose.

"What's wrong?" I ask, concerned.

"Your bleeding!" She yells, pointing at me.

"Oh, right, that." I say.

"What happened?" She asks checking me over.

"No time to explain." I say hurriedly. "The key to these cuffs is over there, on that hook." She nods and gets the key and comes back. She hovers barely above me and puts the key in the slot. I'm keep looking up at her and she looks down at me. She accidently drops the key and bends over to pick it up, I smile. She starts to stand back up but pauses mid-posture. Our faces are only inches apart. I smile not knowing what to say and she blushes, but smiling at the same time. I feel myself blush a little bit too. (red/pink, not blue) It just makes us both smile bigger, if that's possible. Come on Jack, what are you doing? Your just sitting here like an idiot, that's what. Alright, I'm goin for it!

Tooth's POV. (Only for this part)

This is really awkward. I think to myself. I go to fly back up to the cuff when something incredible happens. In a sudden movement, Jack leans in and KISSES ME. I close my eyes and slowly drop my wings so my upper body is laying on him and my legs are next to his. I smile, I've wanted this for a long time. We have to breathe through our noses so we don't suffocate each other it lasts that long.

Jack's POV.

We pull back at the same time, she has light frost formed on her lips, she lays her head on my chest and closes her eyes. I smile and lay my head on top of hers and close my eyes too. Faint voices sound from another room, I whip my head toward them.

"What is it?" Tooth asks. I turn back to face her.

"You have to get out of here." I say urgently. "Pitch and Cupid are back."

"But, what about you?" She asks me getting up.

"I'll be fine, now go."I say, trying to reassure her. Pitch's voice gets louder, and I know he's getting closer. "Wind, take her to the Pole." I whisper. The winter wind hears me and sweeps Tooth towards the exit. "Don't worry about me." I say before she is taken away.

"Ah, Jack." Pitch says opening the doors, Cupid following him. "How were things when we were gone?" He asks. I give him the death stare and he gets the memo. "Alright, just reopen his wounds, don't make new ones. Got it?" He whisperes to Cupid, I can barely hear it. She nods and he leaves. She reopens my cuts and crouches in front of me.

"Don't worry, its almost over. We leave tommorrow night."
