Suhani was in her usual high spirits as she stepped out of her house, humming softly and heading to her beloved bakery.

Just as she reached the sidewalk, lost in her thoughts, she suddenly collided with a car coming to a screeching halt.

The impact knocked her down, and she let out a surprised yelp as she fell onto the pavement.

Inside the car, Samriddh, who had been driving, slammed on the brakes and heard a loud thud.

His heart jumped, and he quickly stepped out of the car.

When he saw who it was lying on the ground, he rolled his eyes in disbelief.

Of course, it had to be her.

"Suhani!" he groaned.

Samriddh huffed, trying to keep his cool, "Tumhe meri hi gaadi mili thi ruk ruk ruk aree baba ruk karne ke liye?"

Suhani, sitting up, rubbed her elbow and looked up at him with an exaggerated pout. "Aur tumhe main hi mili thi accident ho gaya? Hayee rabba! karne ke liye".

He bent down to help her up, but before he could, Suhani grabbed onto the leg of his pants for support.

"Hey! Kya kar rahi ho?" Samriddh yelped, taken aback.

Suhani, unbothered, glanced up at him and replied, "Don't worry, itne bure din nahi aaye ki main tumhari pant utaaru! Main toh bas khadi ho rahi thi."

Samriddh looked at her, completely shocked by her bluntness.

This girl had no filter.

He murmured under his breath, "Besharam ladki."

Suhani's eyes narrowed. "Kuch kaha?"

Samriddh immediately straightened up. "Nahi, kuch nahi. Tum theek ho na? Toh jao apne raste, aur mujhe jaane do."

But Suhani wasn't going to let him off that easily.

She crossed her arms and said dramatically, "Aise kaise? Mera accident kiya aur bina saza diye jaane doon?"

Samriddh groaned. "Ohh hello, Madam Madonna! Kaisi saza? Tumhare upar se leke neeche tak saare screw sahi salamat hai. Kaunsa accident?"

Suhani stood up fully now, dusting herself off and putting on a mischievous smile. "Oh hello, Mr. Know-It-All, saza toh milegi!"

He sighed, exasperated. "Fine, bolo. Kya chahti ho?"

Her eyes lit up with delight, and she grinned cheekily. "Mujhe bakery tak chhod doge?"

Samriddh looked at her, his eyes widening in disbelief.

The last thing he wanted to do was give her a ride.

But then he imagined the alternative: her marching into his house, complaining to his mother, followed by the inevitable lecture about kindness and neighborly duties.

No, he couldn't deal with that today.

With a resigned sigh, he said, "Theek hai. Baitho."

Suhani squealed in delight, clapping her hands like a child who had just won a prize.

She quickly climbed into the passenger seat, beaming.

Samriddh rubbed his temples and muttered under his breath, "Yeh ladki kisi din mujhe pagal kar degi."

Then, he got back into the driver's seat, bracing himself for what was sure to be a very long ride.
