It was the weekend and Sally had been sitting in her room, tuning her guitar.
She never done things with her parents at the weekends, but she had started spending time with Tate on those weekends.
She was just waiting for him to call that she could come over. Sally knew he wasn't awake yet considering she had woken up at 8am on a Saturday and it was currently 8.42 am.
Sally sighed with boredom, grabbed her purse of stickers and placing them on her guitar to make it her own.
She then put on Nirvana and attempted to play along to one of the songs. But she couldn't.
"Fuck." Sally frowned, angry she couldn't get it right and punched the wall. "Shit!"
Sally whimpered, she had punched the wall quite hard and held her wrist as she stretched her fingers.
"Idiot." She mumbled.
Sally then decided to get dressed. She put a long sleeve striped shirt on, throwing a Nirvana top ontop and pulling on black ripped jeans.
She the moved to the balcony in her room, pulling out a cigarette and lighter Tate had given to her.
She lit it, and took a puff as she looked at the quiet outdoors. She then played with the lighter and wondered how long she could keep her hand over it.
She blew out a few more puffs of smoke before putting it out. She the lit the lighter and placed her hand above it.
Sally frowned as it started to burn, she hissed pulling away and turning off the lighter.
She turned her hand over and saw a small circular burn mark, luckily it wasn't bad enough to leave a scarr.
She then heard her landline ringing and rushed to the phone, quickly putting it to her ear.
"Hello?" She heard Tate's tired voice speak.
"Hey. When can i come round?" Sally asked.
"In an hour? How long have you been awake mouse?" Tate asked.
"An hour." Sally admitted, twirling the cord around her fingers.
"Well, okay. I'm getting ready and then just come by Gorgeous." Tate complimented bravely, he cringed at himself.
"Okay Tate. See you." She whispered, hanging up and sliding down the wall with a deep blush brushed on her cheeks.
He called her Gorgeous. He thought she was gorgeous? How could that be? She couldn't believe what she had heard and she felt like she has fallen even harder in that moment.
