Sally had a terrible time while being grounded. Especially after her parents caught Tate, now her balcony door was locked and she could only see him at school.
It had been difficult and her mental health had been declining rapidly. She wasn't planning on staying much longer.
She wanted to have one last good date with Tate and was able to convince her parents to let them have a Valentines date.
So she put on her favourite black long sleeved dress, ripped tights and boots. She kept her hair down, she knew Tate liked it that way.
She grabbed her bag, putting her purse in it. She headed downstairs and left the house, smiling smally when she saw Tate holding dark roses.
"Hey, you look beautiful." Tate smiled to her.
Tate had noticed she had been different and more distant. He was hoping it was just because she had been grounded.
"Thanks. You look great." Sally muttered taking the flowers, giving a kiss to his cheek.
Tate smiled, interlocking their fingers as they walked down the road. They were seeing a new film that was out.
"Happy valentines." Sally told him.
"Happy valentines to you love." Tate rubbed his thumb over her hand. "I always thought this holiday was stupid until I met you."
"Me too." Sally spoke honestly. She was glad she was here with him. "I haven't been to this cinema before."
"It's actually one of the best places in this shitty town." Tate shrugged, letting go of her hand to light a cigarette.
He also gave one to Sally and lit her cigarette with his own one. Sally gave him a look of gratitude.
"You've been distant." Tate noted to her. "I'm worried."
"I'm okay. A bit down due to the grounding but I'm okay. I'll be okay." Sally lied, attempting to reassure him.
Although Tate didn't believe it fully, he nodded and accepted the answer and blew out smoke from his cigarette.
"What snacks do you want?" Tate asked as they got closer.
"Share popcorn and a large drink?" Sally asked.
"Sure thing, Mouse." Tate said, kissing her temple.
The two finished their cigarettes and crossed the road over to the cinema. Sally was finally feeling better, she always felt better with Tate.
"Thank you for that date. You mean alot to me." Sally whispered to him and Tate smiled at her.
"Of course. I would do anything for you Sally." Tate admitted and she nodded. She had never had anyone care as deeply for her as Tate did.
"I would do anything for you." Sally stated truthfully.
The two walked up to the counter and got their popcorn and drink, Tate getting her a chocolate bar aswell.
They walked in to the theatre to watch The Crow. They were both excited to watch it.
They watched the film quietly, the theatre was quite empty. It was nice, it meant they could make out a little bit aswell.
After the film finished, they left the theatre and headed back to Sally's. Sally headed in through the front door and Tate snuck in upstairs.
"I still can't believe you associate yourself with that boy." Tim shook his head.
"Aww thanks. The date was good." Sally replied sarcastically.
"It's wrong Sally. You are not right." Tim stated and Sally rolled her eyes and headed upstairs.
She headed into her room, smiling softly at Tate laying in her bed. She joined him, cuddling into him.
"I love you." Sally told him as he rubbed her back.
"I love you mouse." Tate smiled.

A couple of days later, Sally sat at her desk writing a note to say goodbye. It was her last day of being grounded and no one was home and she believed Tate was at school.
She began to write her letter, explaining how much she hated life. Hated how her parents treated her and how horrible the bullies were.
She said how she always felt like an outsider and believed this would finally bring peace to her.
Sally then wrote a separate letter for Tate, she told him how he was the light in her life. How he kept her alive but she just couldn't do it any longer.
Sally put on her favourite beanie and her favourite Nirvana shirt and ripped jeans.
She headed into the bathroom, grabbing her mothers sleeping pills, she headed back to her room putting on Nirvana.
She began to take them. All of them.
While this was happening, Tate was getting out of bed. He had gotten out of school, wanting to spend Sally's last day grounded with her.
He was getting dressed before heading over. He climbed up to her balcony, he looked in to see Sally laying on her bed.
"Hey." Tate stated, frowning as she didn't answer, he then saw an empty pill bottle next to her and his heart shattered.
He ran over to the girl, calling her name and shaking her, tears pouring out of his eyes.
"Don't you die on me!" Tate cried out, he then tried to make her throw up the pills but it was too late. "No!"
He listened to heart beat, it was faint but still there and he knew what he needed to do.
Tate scooped her up, moving quickly he went downstairs and left her house, taking her to his property.
"Please hold on. Please." Tate cried. He knew that the ambulance wouldn't get there in time for her to be saved. She was gone.
So he brought her to his so that she wouldn't leave him. He couldn't let her leave. He had to be selfish. He loved her too much.
"Oh, Sally." Tate sobbed, holding onto her limp body as he sat in his front garden.
"Tate? What have you done?" Constance voice yelled.
"She killed herself. I couldn't let her go." Tate cried and Constance sighed knowing there would now be another ghost in her house.
"Well, we're going to need to keep her body here. If she's written a letter you need to add she jumped off a bridge. It'll explain her missing body." Constance instructed him and Tate nodded as he sobbed. "I'll take care of the body."
"No." Tate sobbed and Constance yelled for the old maid to come outside and help her get Sally's body from Tate.
Tate cried, knowing she might hate him forever. He just couldn't let her go.
