Iveline arrived to solitary first and watched as Kit was put into the cell next to hers. Iveline then leaned on the wall connecting their cells.
"Kit? Kit are you okay?" Iveline asked worriedly. "Did they..?"
"Cut my balls off? Not yet." Kit replied to her and Iveline sighed in relief.
"I was worried they were doing it early." Iveline admitted.
"Don't worry, they didn't." Kit stated. "How are you?"
"Nervous. My hands won't stop shaking." Iveline admitted and Kit's chest ached, he wished he could hold her.
"It'll be okay, Ivy. It'll work out." Kit tried to reassure her.
"We don't know that." Iveline sighed, sliding down the wall, Kit doing the same on the other side.
"We got each other. I'm not gonna leave you." Kit told her honestly.
"I think you're the only person not repulsed by my scarrs, by what I've done to myself." Iveline frowned, pulling her knees into herself.
"I'm not repulsed. I admire you and I wish I could take the pain away from you." Kit admitted and Iveline felt tears fall down her face.
Iveline felt love and adoration fill her. Kit had treated her better than anyone had ever treated her. And she loved making sure he was okay, she wanted him to treat him right. He deserved it.

Later on, Iveline leaned against her and Kit's shared wall. It was the procedure today.
"Are you afraid?" Iveline heard Kit and was glad to hear it.
"Yeah. I am." Iveline admitted.
"Alma and I always wanted kids." Kit admitted and Iveline's heart felt heavy. "We always talked about having two or three. Always tomorrow."
"And now there will be no tomorrow. I wanted kids. I never thought I would, that I'd die here, and now I never will." Iveline sniffled, looking to her feet, wishing she could be in Kit's arms.
"I'm so sorry." Kit stated, his heart breaking for Iveline.
To him, Iveline was beautiful and kind hearted. She desreved better than this place, and he felt as if he was falling in love with her.
"I got us into this mess." Kit added.
"It was the both of us, plus, I don't regret it." Iveline smiled softly. "Sister Jude is the one to blame. I think she's secretly evil."
"I wish I could hold you." Kit admitted and Iveline closed her eyes.
"Me too." Iveline replied as footsteps approached. They walked past Iveline and she put her ear to the wall to listen.
"Now?" Kit asked, and Iveline's heart beat quickened.
"Yes." Mary Eunice replied. "If you hurry you might be able to have supper."
"Supper?" Kit questioned. "I thought you were taking me for the operation."
"No, Kit. Sister Jude changed her mind." Mary Eunice explained and Iveline felt relief for a moment. "She said you showed signs of redemption. You're being released from solitary. Yay."
"What about Ivy?" Kit asked her.
"Oh, I haven't forgotten about her." Mary Eunice replied. Iveline walked over to the door, looking through the bars.
"I can't believe you'll hear me say this, but I actually miss the food." Iveline stated as Mary Eunice stood outside her door.
"Oh, you won't be eating tonight. No food for 12 hours before the procedure." Mary Eunice stated and Iveline's heart plummeted.
"But you said Sister Jude changed her mind." Iveline whispered in worry.
"For Kit. Rest up dear. You're going under the knife in the morning, and don't make us get out the straight jacket." Mary Eunice warned. "You'll need your strength."
"You can't do this." Iveline cried, her hand going to her mouth.
Iveline screamed out and fell to the ground sobbing. She never expected this when she got admitted here.
She always wanted children and now that choice was being ripped away from her. Iveline gripped onto her arms with her nails hard as she sobbed.
She 100% officially loathed Braircliff manor. Now, she even hated Mary Eunice.

After Kit was let out, he was sent to see Dr Thredson, or rather he requested it.
Kit paced Thredson's office. He found out soon after that Iveline was still getting the procedure and he was infuriated. He promised to look after her and he was failing.
"Kit. I'm sorry to keep you waiting." Thredson stated as he walked in, taking a seat.
"Doc, you gotta help Ivy." Kit said. "Jude's gonna sterilise her. It's not right."
"Iveline isn't my patient Kit. She refused the treatment." Thredson informed him. "You are."
He then pulled out a recording device, Kit looking at it for a second, his mind preoccupied on Iveline and if she was okay.
"Why don't we just concentrate on you and then I'll see what I can do for Iveline." Thredson offered and Kit sat down, his leg bouncing with nervous energy. "Deal?"
Kit was nervous for Iveline but he also remembered how uncomfortable Thredson made Iveline and felt skeptical of the man.
"Have you given thought to what we discussed last time?" Thredson asked.
"You want me to say I killed Alma and those other ladies." Kit replied.
"Only if you believe it's true." Thredson stated.
If Iveline was there she would tell Kit not to be an idiot and to not confess. Unfortunately for Kit, she's in solitary.
"You need to give yourself permission to remember." Oliver explained. "I think one way to do that is to hear it in your own words. I want you to describe what you think happened. Then I'll play it back for you so you can hear it in your own voice, with your own ears."
"And if I do that, you're gonna tell the courts that I should... that I should stay here, and I.. I won't get the chair?" Kit asked, feeling nervous.
"Yes that is the bargain." Thredson responded. "But I need to feel you're sincere."
Thredson then started the recording and Kit leaned forwards in his seat, hoping he was doing the right thing.
Meanwhile, something weird was happening with Iveline.
