Iveline and Kit got out of the taxi, Iveline holding Nick. Kit opened the door for her as they arrived at Kit's home.
"This is all yours?" Iveline asked as she looked at the house.
"Ours." Kit smiled, kissing her cheek.
He led her to the front of the house and they walked onto the porch of the old farmhouse.
"Don't expect a mansion." Kit said and Iveline rolled her eyes.
"Open the door." Iveline smiled.
Walking in, Iveline looked around in amazement at the space and size of the living room. It was a bit messy, but Kit was taken soon after the abduction.
"I never got a chance to clean up." Kit stated in realisation. "I'm sorry."
"Don't be. It's perfect." Iveline assured him making him feel better. "Plus, we can clean together."
Kit smiled, kissing her softly, one hand going to her hop as she held Nick.
Iveline walked around slowly, taking in the beautiful home she would be rasing a child in with the love of her life.
"The kitchen is lovely. Will you teach me to cook?" Iveline asked and Kit nodded happily.
"We'll make many meals here." Kit told her. "Let's see upstairs."
The two headed up the stairs where there was two lovely bathrooms. There was a larger bedroom, which she assumed to be Kit's and then two spare rooms.
"Nick has his own room." Iveline stated excitedly.
"And we finally get to have a decent night's sleep, in a decent bed, in a decent place." Kit smiled to her.
"I can't wait." Iveline sighed. "Nick doesn't have a bed."
"I actually built a cot a while back. We can move it in here with us." Kit stated and Iveline felt her heart swell.
"Do you wish you were here with Alma instead?" Iveline asked.
"No I don't. I'm happy with you, I love you alot." Kit told her, looking into her eyes. "I'm glad things turned out the way they did. I wouldn't have it any other way."
"I love you." Iveline sniffled, leaning her forehead on his.
Kit smiled, kissing her nose. Iveline sighing in contentment. She wouldn't have it any other way either.

Kit had gone out to the shops to grab everything they need for Nick and come back.
Iveline fed their son, placing him in the cot care. She smiled at him before laying in bed with Kit.
"Thank you, for everything." Iveline stated and Kit shook his head.
"Thank you." Kit smiled, giving her a loving kiss. "I was thinking we could grow our own crops. And there's this great diner you could work at when you're ready."
"That would be great, both of those things." Iveline told him truthfully as she layed her head on his chest.
Iveline went to sleep soon after, finally in a comfortable bed after two years if being stuck in a crappy aslym.
She couldn't wait for her first shower, her first job, her first everything with her second chance.
Iveline moved around in her sleep restlessly, dreaming of everything she suffered from while at Briarcliff. Her breathing became rapid as she dreamed she was still in that place.
Kit woke up at 2am to her wiggling and mumbling in her sleep. Kit leaned on his side, trying to shake her awake.
"Ivy! Wake up!" Kit yelled and Iveline jumped awake. She was completely confused about where she was.
"Get off me! Let me out! Let me out!" Iveline sobbed, trying to fight off Kit's grip on her.
"Ivy! It's me it's Kit!" Kit yelled and she began to calm down, her breathing calming down.
"No!" Iveline cried out sadly, gripping his shirt.
"You're here with me. In our home." Kit comforted her, rubbing her back softly.
Iveline calmed down, a small hiccup escaping her lips as she realised where she was.
"You're okay." Kit assured her. "I've got you."
Nick started to cry and Iveline pulled away to go comfort her son and do whatever he needed.
"I've got it." Kit told her. He kissed her forehead before getting out of bed to look after Nick.

Iveline had explained her nightmares to Kit and he explained he had small ones too.
It had now been a week. Kit had gotten his job back at the auto car shop. Iveline not ready to work yet, wanting to look after Nick.
Iveline was struggling adjusting, so was Kit. Iveline was getting withdrawal symptoms from not having sedatives anymore.
It was a challenge but Kit stuck by her, something she was terrified of. She was terrified of him leaving her because she was struggling too much to adjust.
Neither of them had heard from Lana since getting out, but they had seen her in newspapers and on the news. But not for shutting down Briarcliff.
"Hi!" Iveline smiled from the kitchen, Nick in his cot.
The two had also cleaned up the house, sorting out things for the time being before they redecorated to make the house their own.
"How was your first day?" Iveline asked, Kit coming over to kiss her on the cheek.
"It went well, there's a new owner, Joe. He's been good to me." Kit admitted and Iveline smiled.
"I'm glad. I cooked something easy, pizza. I hope it's okay." Iveline stated and Kit chuckled.
"It's perfect, Doll." Kit told her, walking over to Nick. "Hi, little man, you been good for ya ma?"
"He's been great." Iveline told him.
"How have you been?" Kit asked, wrapping his arms around her waist.
"I've felt sick and a stomach ache." Iveline admitted. "It's getting better though. I haven't had any episodes either. I'm worried I will."
"We'll figure it out. Don't worry, Ives. Now, let's eat that food you cooked up for us." Kit told her.
Iveline smiled, thinking of how lucky she was to have Kit and Nick in her life. She felt privileged.
