Indy skittered to a sudden stop as part of the ground gave way, dumping half their precarious path into the fiery chasm. "Lizavet, what way do we go?"

"I don't know!" Lizavet blurted. "The volcano is shaking too much for me to see a way out!"

"The world tree," Emily whispered.

"What?" Shorty yelled.

The volcano under them started to groan as the rocks surrendered to its heat.

"I killed Chiba apkallu on the world tree... next to a lake," Emily explained. "It's the only thing that's been stable in all of this."

Shorty thought for a moment. "So we find it and climb it?"

"I don't know," Emily shuddered. "I don't think I can get back there. It's through a cave complex that's probably filled with lava."

"Shouldn't it have already exploded then?" Shorty asked.

"As above, so below," Lizavet whispered to herself. "The Treasure Guardian holds the keys." She looked at her sword. "And he gave them to us."

Indy stared at them. "Not all of them. When I was in the Unseen Realm - the Treasure Guardian had a copy of the ancient tabernacle that would have held the Ark of the Covenant. He also had the Holy Grail. He's probably got supernatural swords like the ones we're carrying too. He's not afraid to let us share power."

"Then I was right?" Emily asked. "The ancients built their ruins based on what they believed was present in the supernatural?"

"Yes hon, you were exactly right."

"So what are we looking for?" Shorty asked.

"The Great Seal," Indy whispered. "From the Treasury."

"Where we went to get the swords from Grandpa Henry?" Emily asked.

"Yeah. That's what we're looking for."

"Why not something local, Dad?" Emily wondered.

"I don't know," Indy replied. "That's what my instincts are going with."

Lizavet stared. "What did this Great Seal look like?"

Indy thought for a moment. Everything was collapsing all around them. The passageway rumbled as the pressure rose along with the temperature.

"Dad...?" Emily asked. "Hurry up?"

"I'm trying to remember," Indy muttered.

"We just saw it last week!" Shorty blurted.

Emily looked at Shorty. "Yeah and you don't remember either!"

Indy grinned at them. "Your mother was right, Em. You needed a brother."

Shorty frowned. "I think it had some sort of flower on it."

"It's the altar!" Lizavet realized, running back into the temple.

"You never saw it!" Shorty took off after her.

"I did! I have! In my dreams!" Lizavet was racing through the passageway toward the inner sanctum. The air was thick with shimmering heat as the lava rose higher.

"Follow her!" Indy pointed.
