5 Year Aftermath - (Chapter 1)

5 Years Later

After the defeats of Malrido, Holvisk, and Satdahrikan, anything went back to normal thanks to the Ghostbusters. Unfortunately, as the days, weeks, months, and years passed, the city of London changed. Instead of being happy, the people grew extremely bitter to each other as fights would often break out. It didn't help that the Ghostbusters had to dissolve due to the lack of business. As five years passed, everything became grey until something happened underneath the city. Cracks would form and pinkish purple slime came out. Nobody noticed let alone cared until a familiar walks by while pushing a stroller.

This familiar face was no other than Laurel. Apparently during those five years of not being apart of the Ghostbusters, Laurel got married and had a baby boy. It was a stormy morning as Laurel was out with her baby before she stopped at a flower display. While she was busy looking at the display, she didn't noticed that slime was slowly making its way to her baby's stroller before it eventually made the stroller move. Luckily, Laurel notices this and chases after it as the stroller passed by a large crowd of people who got out of the stroller's way.

"Why are you moving out of the way!? Stop that stroller! My baby is in it!" cried out Laurel. The stroller kept going as it went into the street of moving traffic which made Laurel's heart race in fear. Laurel kept going after it until it stopped at a place where there weren't any cars. Laurel made her way towards the stroller as she checked to make sure her baby was okay and surprisingly they didn't have any clue on what just happened. Laurel then sighs in relief before looking around the surrounding area before looking at her baby. "Oh my god, you're safe. I almost had a heart attack. I think it's time visit our friend Edd" said Laurel.

Meanwhile inside an apartment complex, both Tord and Jon were seen knocking on a door which a lady opens. "Ah, you've made it. I'm so happy that you could come to my son's birthday party" said the lady. "No problem! We're more than happy to assist you" said Tord. "Yeah that's right! If you ever want a guest of honor to be apart of your parties, birthday parties in general, who ya gonna call?" asked Jon. "Ghostbusters. Err..uh, please do come in but keep your voices down" said the lady. Tord and Jon went inside the lady's home as she was showing them where the party is.

"Okay, the party's being held in the living room. I'm going to go in and after awhile of some talking, I'll call you in. Does all of that sound okay?" asked the lady. "Sure! Sounds great" said Tord. The lady smiles before going into the living room where her son and his friends are at. "Good news everyone! The special guests are here" said the lady. "Yay!" said the kids. "Are you ready to see them?" asked the lady. "Yeah!" said the kids. "Are you sure?" asked the lady. "Yes, we are!" said the kids. "Alright! Come on in you two!" said the lady.

The kids cheered but quickly stopped once they saw both Tord and Jon enter the room. "Hello kids! I'm Tord and this is Jon. We're the Ghostbusters and we're here to be your guests for the day. Aren't you excited like I am?" asked Tord. "Ghostbusters? Lame..." said a kid. "Hey! Leave them alone Xander. It's my special day today, so don't ruin it" said the son. "Well I hate to break it to you, Sam, but the Ghostbusters were so five years ago" said Xander. "Don't listen to him, Sam. We still got in us including the photon packs" said Jon. "You do? Awesome!" said Sam.

"Anyway, are you guys ready to get this party started? Let's do this!" said Tord. The kids, expect for Xander, cheered as Tord got out a boom box and sets it down on a table before pressing play. Unexpectedly it was the Ghostbusters theme and both Tord and Jon sang the verses while the kids chimed in by saying "Ghostbusters". "If there's something strange in your neighborhood, who you gonna call?" sang Tord and Jon. "Ghostbusters!" said the kids. "If there's something weird and it don't look good, who you gonna call?" sang Tord and Jon. "Ice cream!" said the kids. "What...?" asked Jon slightly confused.

All of the kids took off running as they saw the buckets of ice cream being placed onto the table by Sam's dad. "Umm...thanks for being the entrainment. I was wondering, would you like to stay for the cake and ice cream along with some party games?" asked Sam's mother. "Oh, sure. We're not really in a hurry or anything" said Tord. "Uh actually Tord, I'm supposed to be with both Eduardo and Mark for a game of laser tag" said Jon. "You do realize that they can wait right? Besides the kid's love the photon packs and lasers" said Tord. Before Jon could protest, Tord was given a small bowl of ice cream before shoving a spoonful in Jon's mouth. "Why would you do that- yumm.....on second thought, let's stay for awhile" said Jon.

[A Couple of Minutes Later]

After spending a lot of time at Sam's party, both Tord and Jon were seen walking out of the apartment wearing party hats and glow sticks around their wrists and necks. "Thanks again for coming!" said Sam's mother. "You're welcome! Have a nice day" said Tord. "So how much money did we made this time?" asked Jon. "Well this our fourth party as of today and the first two only gave us like £20. But after this one, we were given about £60" said Tord. "That's good" said Jon. "Yeah it is, but it's not enough especially when it's so close to the holidays" said Tord.

Tord and Jon kept talking for awhile as they walked over to the Ectomobile where Tord opens up the side compartment and puts the photon packs into the thing before closing it. "So you're telling me that we're still paying the expenses of rebuilding London?" asked Tord. "Well not really since the queen and the major only wanted us to pay for a small amount. Other than that, there isn't that much money in the budget and besides, I don't see anyone calling the Ghostbusters anytime soon expect when it comes to children birthday parties" said Jon. "You can't be serious! I've spent my entire life dreaming of leaving my home in Norway in hopes of coming to the UK only to get sent back all because of some lousy people not believing in ghosts? Unbelievable! I just miss seeing Edd and the others" said Tord. "Yeah, same goes for me, but they all have much better jobs. Laurel also got married, which later became a divorce, but she has a baby now." said Jon. "And? So? Look, why we fighting about this? Let's just go" said Tord.
