Dominic was released on Monday after a court hearing with Celeste, Karina, and Alex there to testify on his behalf. Celeste was able to get one of her many cousins to defend him at a discounted price, she was lucky to have a lawyer in the family.

If it wasn't for the body cam that the officer had on, the case could've gone more south. The officers sexual comment towards Celeste brought Dominic's image up tremendously, but the fact the trip was caught on camera did not completely change the charges.

The judge agreed to let him go with probation and 6 months house arrest. When asked where Dominic would be staying for his house arrest, Celeste immediately looked back at her little sister, Catalina, who accompanied her and sat in a row behind her. With her stare, she was asking her little sister for permission for Dom to stay with them. She knew Catalina wouldn't mind, her thoughts confirmed as the younger sister didn't hesitate to nod her head in agreement. Catalina saw Dom as a brother figure at this point of the relationship of the two.

Once it was settled where Dominic would be staying, he was released later that day. Celeste, Alex, Karina, and Catalina all stood outside rhe Collier county jail anticipating his release. Celeste was radiating with joy at the sight of Dominic doing the stride from the jail to freedom, she was so happy it all worked out in the end.

Dominic walked out with an ankle monitor, which only allowed him to be at Celeste's or work, whenever he acquired a job He was allowed to roam Naples between the hours of 9am-5pm, which was subject to change once he got a job and then his system would be reset to match his work schedule. He wasn't allowed to leave the state for 6 months.

It was 2PM on a monday, Dominic still had 3 hours to be out and about. His first two weeks should be spent finding a job, which is what Dominic and Celeste set out to do the minute he got out. He would have weekly check ins with his probation officer, who would come visit him at Celeste's apartment to see how Dominic was doing and, most importantly, to drug test him.
Dom didn't really know how to feel about the drug tests. He was mad he couldn't do any kind of drugs, but he would get by. These next few months would ve the most unpredictable for their relationship. The tolls withdrawals took on their relationship was intense, with Dominic starting fights over every little thing, it was like walking on eggshells.

A few days had passed, and the late night was cool in Naples. The small window in Celeste's room gave a cool breeze, with her sprawled out on the bed they now shared and Dom making music in a corner. He used a section of her desk for the laptop Alex somehow got for him. He had some recording equipment lent to him by some friends and his own items he collected over the years. Soft chords played from the Squier in Dom's hands, A sonic Stratocaster that Celeste got for him as a welcome home gift.

He finger plucked a C# note, playing a melodic riff with the strings. Once he established a picking pattern, he began humming to the melody, attempting to fit words with the melody as if the music was puzzle. Behind him, Celeste snored softly, her head resting on a pillow that had her on the opposite end of the bed. She often fell asleep to Dom producing when he was having a calmer night.

The time just turned to 1 am and Celeste had been dozing off for the past half hour. Reaching for his nicotine, he took a hit, the flavor of cherry hitting his lungs. He turned behind to his girlfriend the light from his computer and the soft lamp glowing on her skin. He loved the way she looked while she fell asleep, mouth slightly open and her long hair a mess. She looked so at peace than when she was awake, running around making sure everyone around her was okay.

The urges to do coke were rough, the first few weeks always are. He knew he had to thug it out for at least 6 months. Celeste didn't smoke any weed around him, if she did, it was out of his sight. She felt bad that her boyfriend was in this forced tolerance break, the least she could do was have the decency to not tempt him with it.

"I can't keep track of all my socks.... I'm irresponsible not because i'm a rockstar," Dominic sang softly to the riff he kept repeating, filling in the gaps. He hit record on the garageband project he was working on, beginning to sing the riff softly, as to not bother his girlfriend but loud enough to capture the idea. He would be able to record it at full potential in the morning.

When he finished, he took off the battered headphones and sat up to put his guitar down. Reaching up to the ceiling with all his being, he stretched his back, soft cracks of relief being heard. He glanced over to his girlfriend again, expecting to find her asleep, but her eyes were staring right at him. Dominic jumped back, he was startled by her awaken state. She was usually a pretty deep sleeper.

"Oh shit. You're up." Dominic laughed dryly, as Celeste began to sit up. She reached over for the cherry nic, taking a hit and attempting to calm her crazy hair.

"I wanna hear it," Celeste grumbled, sitting up now to show he had her attention.

"It's a shitty demo, I'll record it for real tomorrow." Dominic shrugged, beginning to take the mouse over the play button as Celeste sat on the bed behind him on her knees, reaching from behind to collapse her arms around her boyfriend. She leaned her head on top of his, showing her sleepiness but nonetheless needing to listen to this.

As the song gently played, Celeste would dance the tips of her fingers on top of Dom's chest. Whenever she was able to match the beat with her fingers, it meant she really liked what he made. He liked showing her his music cause she would be blunt about whether or not she liked it, she never gassed him up to please him.

"This is sick. Very pretty, baby. I can't wait to see what more you do with it tomorrow." Celeste smiled softly, Dominic kissed her arm before sitting up from the chair he was sat on.

"Thanks, doll. Me too. Let's actually sleep now, yeah?" Dominic's voice was low and groggy, a sign of his own restlessness.

This routine became the norm for the couple. Dominic's house arrest was what it was suppose to be; annoying, suffocating, and an overall burden. His days consisted of waking up in Celeste's bed, going to work, coming home and making beats, and repeat. Small fights broke out more often between them, mostly due to Dom's irritation from his withdrawals. Whenever those small fights happened, Celeste would be the one to leave and give them the space they need. Dominic felt guilt from this, he was basically kicking her out of her own place because he's stuck there with an ankle monitor on him. It would get overwhelming, but both knew it was just part of the hardships of this situation.

His drug tests were bi-weekly, with his probation officer stopping by on random days instead of a consistent schedule. This was to make sure Dominic couldn't find a way to hide drug usage, and it made him all the more frustrated.

Celeste tried her best to make sure Dominic wasn't going completely insane during his house arrest. She often brought home activities that they could both do while watching a tv show together or a movie, and it got Dominic by.

For now.
