"Elianna!"

The music teacher, Ms. Hernandez said, quickly waking me up.

"Huh?" I said, starting to rub my eyes.

"Stop sleeping in class, you know better!"

"Sorry.."

I yawned, getting ready to use my trumpet.

"And a 1, 2, 3!" Ms. Hernandez said, as all the instruments brought the room to life.

As I finished my part, I silently waited for my solo, since I was really good, of course. Who would be cast for a solo part if you're not good? I decided to scroll on my phone. Besides, what else was there to do? As I waited, I accidentally dropped my phone. Picking it up, I realized that my solo part was happening at that moment. I scrambled to pick up my trumpet, rushing through all the parts, making the music sound like an eyesore. Everyone covered their ears, glancing at me.

"End it." Ms. Hernandez said, everyone turning back to face her.

And the room turned silent.

"Elianna, I believe I'll have to take your solo away."
"What?.." I exclaimed.

"That's right. I believe Sarah over here would fit your part nicely."

Sarah gleamed, making a teasing face at me.

"Fine then, do whatever you want."

Just then the bell rang.
