First of all, thank you for reading my story! I definitely just let myself go instead of focusing on making a complicated story and intricate characters.
Because of this, my writing won't be as fancy as I how I wrote in my (still being rewritten) Tom Riddle fanfic. This will be more of a short urban fantasy story that I write in when I'm feeling inspired. Honestly, I was just craving writing a fantasy story and a romance story.
The fantasy creatures featured in this book will be more stereotypical ones, such as werewolves, vampires, fairies, sirens, and mermaids, but I will also be including Polish creatures such as rusalka, poludnica, strzygi, and zmora, since the people in the town of Melancholy are mainly Polish, and Melancholy was heavily inspired by Venice and Polish towns.
Please keep in mind that Dahlia has a mental disorder, which is Dissociative Identity Disorder. This means that she has multiple personalities that surface at different times. Please don't hate on her. Besides, we all love our morally grey unhinged psychotic female MCs.
My chapterS will also be a mix of long, 10 to 30 minute chapters and short, angsty ones for emotional revelations and such.
This story was also inspired by: To All The Boys I've Loved Before by Jenny Han, The Naturals by Jennifer Lynn Barnes, and When Among Crows by Veronica Roth.
