DEANS POV:
" its chriiiisssmmaaasssss!" Charlie sing-songed. We hadn't had a actual christmas in years. She came out of the closet, holding up a green box of ornaments and humming christmas jingles. We had some random ornaments that I found at walmart for cheep. The tree was already up in the library of the bunker, it was even a real tree cas and I had gone out and cut down ourselves! So, we got a vacuum as well now I could clean the mess up easier. decorating, here we come!
"Nooooo.... Christmas is still 3 days away charlie." I said, handing her a cup of hot chocolate.
"Buzz kill" she mutters and I chuckle.
" gabe, sam, cas, Come get some hot chocolate!" I knew we all loved the sweet drink. I had made enough for all of us, and I may have spiked the eggnog. Who knows?
" thanks dean" sam says and takes the drink, cas and gabe do the same. But when cas does, he gives me peck on the lips.
"Thank you dean. I love you. And merry Christmas. " my heart flutters as I say
"I love you too baby. Merry christmas." Then, he walks towards gabe and gabe whispers something in his ear. The sound of the flap of wings, and he's gone.
"Gabe, what did you say to him?" Sam asks going over towards gabe. Then, realization dawns on me as I turn around. He was on TOP of the christmas tree, Legs crossed, sipping hot chocolate.
" gabe, are you sure this is a good idea? The tree is not very comfortable." Cas says and gabe bursts into a fit of laughs.
" what?! This isnt what your supposed to do? Gabe said that an angel was supposed to go up on top of the tree! The tree isnt very sturdy. Im going to get down. Gabriel, why are you laughing? Sam?" His head was tilted to the side in confusion.
" its alright baby. Just get down here. We have a smaller angel to put on the tree." I say. Then, the flap of wings and he is right next to me again.
"Gabe, aren't you going to go on the tree?"cas asks and I wonder why he would say that. We just told him that another angel was going on the tree.
" why would I-" then, sam burst out laughing. Still confused, cas says,
"what? You said a smaller angel. Gabriel is much smaller than me. Is that not what you mean?"
"No baby, i mean this one. " I pulled out a angel from the box.
"See?" I say and he looks down at the floor, and says,
"Im sorry. I dont understand humans very much." He says.
" its okay baby. I love you." I tilt his head up and give him a sweet, loving kiss. Sam clears his throat and gabe says,
" time for some egggggnnnnnnooooooggggggg!!!!!" Boy, was this going to be fun.
